Wir waren zum Amphi-Wochenende angereist seit mehreren Jahren. Anfänglich wurde sich um das Wohlbefinden bemüht. Hier und da sah man über Unstimmigkeiten hinweg. Dass der Koffer im falschen Zimmer landet, kann ja mal passieren...Zunehmend mussten wir feststellen, dass sich die Prioritäten der Gastgeber geändert haben und einfach das Herzblut fehlt. Man spürt als Gast, ob man willkommen ist. Es scheint gezwungen, wirkt teils unstrukturiert. Kann nur empfehlen, die Buchungsbestätigung im Blick zu haben bei Anreise um diese mit der Rechnung vergleichen zu können. Bei dem Preis kann man ein gewisses Maß an Service und Professionalität erwarten. Zumal Preise gleichwertiger Zimmer abweichen. Minibar weder befüllt, noch angestellt, Telefon nicht mehr vorhanden (damit wird noch geworben). Sauberkeit scheinbar stark von jeweiliger durchführenden Person abhängig, anders kann ich mir die lobenden Rezensionen nicht erklären. Man geht davon aus, dass die Reinigung zwischen Abreise und (bestenfalls nochmal bei längerem Leerstand) vor Anreise neuer Gäste erfolgt.

Stammgast seit 3 Jahre. Service schlechter, dafür Preise unverschämt erhöht. Neue Zahlungsmodalität Vorauskasse erst beim Check-in erwähnt. Auffüllen Frühstücksbuffet teilweise nur nach Aufforderung. Wenn man Pech hat, bekommt man Kaffee wo der Filter zweimal benutzt wurde oder das Pulver nicht mehr ausreichte.

Brilliant location, super friendly team, easy travel from the airport, on the quieter bank but a tram stop right outside (line 1 or line 7 stops just down the road). Easy walk into the City, truly wonderful experience - recommend bike hire from Radstation at the main station - excellent bike routes and such fun

A quaint little hotel with friendly staff , well situated near the railway station and the tram network , very clean and well kept rooms , very comfortable beds ( slept better than at home) really lovely breakfast consisting of continental and British eggs and bacon , would definitely stay again!

We stayed in Cologne for 2 nights, and we needed a room for three. This hotel offered us two separate rooms, which was great. Both rooms had fridges, but neither one of them worked, we brought it to the attention to the receptionist at the front desk, however, it was about 7:50 pm when we discussed it with them and they were leaving for the night…. There is no one on duty between 8 pm and 6 am. Since we were there for just a couple of days, it did not warrant the trouble of getting the fridges fixed… The rooms were rather small, but a single was a corner room, so it had a large shower with a window, with enough space inside the room to move about. In the double, the bed was taking most of the space and besides having difficulty to store the suitcases, moving around was difficult. Moreover, in the double the shower was a corner deal, so small, that we kept hitting ourselves on the plumbing (the water regulator) when washing, there was barely any room to move in it. A huge plus was the AC in the room, to keep the temperature down; with the heat wave across Europe, it was a saving grace. The location is really good, with the tram line right across the little bridge, about 2 minute walk, we could get into town very quickly and easily. The neighborhood was quiet, so the sleep was restful. The mattresses and bedding were comfortable. There were sufficient number of outlets in the room to charge our devices. Wi-Fi was good. The rooms were clean. Overall, a good stay, but not spectacular.

As I mentioned in title they were very honest, gentile and helpful. I chooses a single room and, I did not expected too much but...the furniture was cool, modified to give you more space: smaller door for bathroom give room for a larger bed and a nice wall mirror to get even more space. Large window for the same idea, good elevator, nice view over the bridge, like you will see in picture. I was really feeling safe and comfortable here and ii will be back for it's position: central, close to Laxess arena, train station and city center. Congrats !
