The property was charming, and I wish I had more time to take in the Ellis Inn's other amenities. I felt bad that I missed the original breakfast time on my first morning there due to jet lag, but Paula was so accommodating. The room was great, and the bed was a little too comfortable. It is an excellent location if you are visiting northern and central Vermont but be advised that parking can be a little tricky there. Though that could also be attributed to my lack of familiarity with the type of rental car I had. Overall a great experience.

The Ellis Inn is charming, historic, and beautifully maintained. Tim, Paula, Jessica, and Trevor were spectacular hosts, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here! The property was so clean and inviting, and nights spent by the fireplace were wonderful. We are looking forward to returning next year!

A beautiful place and experience! Paula, Tim and their adult children are warm and gracious hosts. The grounds are pristine and the interior is tastefully decorated. Breakast consisted of pancakes, sausage, and fruit - very delicious. I was sad we only stayed one night; it was the best accommodation of our 9 day adventure through New England.

We wanted to end our trip through New England & Canada with a relaxed stay, exploring Vermont. We thought about staying in downtown Burlington, but knew we wanted to drive around outside of the city. Also, the options didn't seem that great in downtown. When I was searching around outside of Burlington, I found the Ellis Inn and it looked adorable, and to boot, had breakfast included. I am so glad we decided to stay there. Upon driving into the entrance, you could see everything was so well kept and cared for. Our room was clearly newly renovated, modern, clean and cozy. We met Paula and Tim, the owners and who took care of us for our delicious breakfasts (2 different menus for our 2 days with "grandma's" homemade blueberry cake) and they were so friendly and kind and made sure we were comfortable. This is a great place to stay to explore beautiful Vermont, in any season, and we hope to get back there. In the meantime, I will get my mom a gift card to stay there so she can enjoy it too!

We had a wonderful one night stay here. The owners were lovely and accommodating. The house and grounds are just beautiful. The attention to detail was evident throughout the property. Breakfast was delicious. We hope to come back again and stay longer .
