維傑埃蘭薩飯店(Hotel Vijay Elanza)

Rooms are in decent condition as per the classification of the hotel. Munimum toilet amenities are placed. Some of chargeable packed snacks placed in the room but no beverages kept inside the minibar fridge.The hotel have bar which is running for 24 hrs. There are some board meeting rooms and a large conference hall is inside the hotel for banquet functions.We've taken care by the f&b team with good service in their barbecue restaurant. It was an excellent dinner experience as having barbecue dishes from the table top itself. The negetives are the Towels kept in the rooms have too much smell of a room freshner; From it got headache by wiping face. And the door is missing in the shower partition.

BETTER NOT TO STAY IN THIS HOTEL Very irresponsible ***agement. Not at all bothered when client complains about the damage to the car parked in the hotel parking area. Although the vehicle was parked thro wallet parking facility by their experienced(?) drivers, received dent on the front portion of the car. When asked their GM, Santhosh Kumar for showing the CC tv footage to find out which vehicle done the damage, I was told, the password for their CC TV footage is with their MD who was out of station and promised me to share once he come back. Till date he didn't had courtesy to call me. He didn't shared his MD' s contact details when requested and gave very arrogant answer that hotel is not responsible for any damage. Later after reaching home, tried searching for their MD, Shivakumar number and sent WhatsApp message & mail narrating the bad experience had in their hotel, Vijay Elanza, Coimbatore, Mr. Shivakumar, although pursued his PG in US, doesn't have minimum sense to respond a client's complaint.

Front office staff had a rude behavior when I checked in. Even though I had a prior reservation confirmation on a corporate account, I was made to wait for 2 hours for getting a room. As I was travelling for work, this delay has hampered my trip agenda. Team has not had a courtesy to even calm down the situation and behaved rudely. I suggest not to prefer this hotel for 24 hour check in.

Positives -Comfortable hotel with clean rooms and bathrooms -Close to airport but little away from main city and market area -Good buffet breakfast Issues - First floor has some steps after getting off the lift. (applicable if anyone has problem with climbing steps) - One morning the whole geyser system had an electrical malfunction and as a result hot water was not available in the bathroom. Subsequently, on repeated request, some workaround was arranged by Housekeeping but resulted in delays for us. The main issue I have is that different members of staff kept giving us different reasons for the unavailability of hot water - instead of simply telling us the truth about the electrical failure and that they were working full on to fix it. This points to poor accountability on part of senior ***agement and poor training of front desk staff. Overall a good , clean comfortable hotel.
