We stayed for a week as our van had broken down. Frank and all of his staff were amazing - so helpful and accommodating even when we weren’t sure how long we were going to be staying. Clean, friendly & great amenities. The menu in the restaurant is huge, varied and great value. The bar is lots of fun and always has some live music or other event on. Always busy with atmosphere. Our room was quiet and private and clean. Great shower and small kitchenette. Right on the beach and only a 30 minute walk to the jetty area of Coffs Harbour with cafes bars and restaurants. We are so grateful and would definitely recommend a stay here!

Best hostel in Auz in a perfect location! 10 second walk to the beach and lots of shops/cafes/restaurants a short 15 min walk away. If you are looking for retail or hospitality jobs there are plenty in the area. The cleaners do an amazing job and are friendly. Frank who runs the place is the most helpful hostel owner you will ever meet! From before we arrived he was so helpful over email and made our whole stay relaxing and enjoyable. He also gave us some advice for finding regional work before/during our stay. You also get a discount for weekly bookings and some vouchers for discounted pizza/free beer & pool games over in the pub. We loved the hostel & Coffs so much that we ended up staying a total of almost 6 months! The guests are generally really friendly and we made some lifelong friends. Thanks for everything Hoey Moey!

The worst place I have ever tried to stay in. No air con , no opening windows, pillows that smell of vomit, old hard mattress, no checks on resident noise and very overpriced for what you get. Lying here at 12.18am wondering if we will ever be able to sleep in preparation for another day's drive. Do yourself a favour and just don't stay here.....keep driving.

You get what you pay for and it was exceptional good value

The location of Hoey Moey could not be better. Right on the beach front. Loved walking the small track over the dunes onto a beautiful beach. No roads to cross. Entertainment provided, great food at the restaurant, pokie room available plus a commercial size kitchen if we wanted to use it. Definitely will be returning to this idyllic spot in Coffs Harbour at an affordable price. Available to all ages.

Although I never actually got to stay at Hoey Moey due to complications . The staff especially Lexi that helped me deal with the situation were nice, friendly and very understanding , she is a credit to the company! If nothing else stay for the warm welcome I’m sure you’ll receives
