Property is adjacent to the highway running through Coffs. HGVs run past the property and our room was at the end of the "block", just 20 metres from the road. It was noisy. Other rooms further away may not have had this problem. Ear plugs were supplied (thus recognising that there is a noise problem) but the other observation of the area is that there are a lot of motels on the same street. Most seemed to be a little further back than the end room we had at the Matador. The room size was good. The air con worked beautifully after a hot day in the car and the pool was nice and refreshing for a cool down.

Generally a good clean motel with good facilities and comfortable bed with quality linens. A stop over whilst driving from Gold Coast to Sydney. Unfortunately the motel is directly by the side of the main A road and with no double glazing it is extremely noisy which is a shame and something the owners can’t really do air about
