Rockyview is a quaint historical hotel with small rooms and thin walls, as you would expect. I should have done my homework and seen there is a bar right underneath the rooms, and on a Saturday night, it was noisy. But, as a spot between Calgary and Banff, it was comfortable and the staff very helpful and pleasant. They were willing to accommodate a late evening arrival. The room was clean and had the basics. There is a restaurant on-site, and the hotel is in a nice walking area.

Staff very polite and helpful rooms Are very small would recommend for a short stay free parking behind the hotel and two restaurants attached to the hotel with outside seating and balconies not great choice for breakfast and couldn’t cater for allergies that was a shame but found another local restaurant for breakfast

What a great place to stay! The building is 118 years old, up to code and well maintained while preserving the 'old west' feel. Very comfortable, great a**osphere and wonderful people. Michelle, the owner, took us on a tour herself and was very personable and friendly. Definitely making this a go-to stop when we just want to get out of the house.

Great staff great rooms. This is an old hotel and is charming. Shows a lot of the history of the local area. Make sure you eat at the restaurant, it is very tasty. Located in downtown Cochrane and a great place to walk and to explore the local town.

If you are looking for a Super 8, this is not it. It's nostalgic, well set up, and something different from an everyday hotel. True to its era, the rooms are small, but that is part of the charm. We were impressed with the attention to detail and how very clean it was. Thanks for the out of the ordinary treat!
