Das Gasthaus, the Inn of Claysburg

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this Inn! The hosts were friendly and welcoming and made themselves available in the event we needed them. Our room was bright, fresh and well appointed with thoughtful touches that made us feel pampered. Our bed was very comfortable. We brought along our doodle along and he also enjoyed himself. Breakfast was served hot and tasty! We will be planning a return visit here!

Having lived in the quintessential small town of Indiana, Pa , the Inn of Claysburg,Das Gasthaus, is the center of hospitality in this small town. I am reminded of simpler times as depicted in the movie, A Wonderful Life. The love and care used to renovate this beautiful Greek Revival style farmhouse is amazing! Clean and bright, yet cozy and inviting. A hardy delicious breakfast, comfortable beds, tastefully decorated with touches of complimentary items, hot and cold beverages, bath salts and more. Angie and Bryan are a loving couple who have mastered the art of innkeeping in their very first year! They are pleasant to talk to and I cannot wait to return to enjoy the sunny porch in the Summer with my husband.
