Very Clean property, comfortable beds, friendly helpful staff who tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Onsite guest laundry, pet friendly rooms and an elevator in building. Free internet, free Roku TV and free parking. We had a great stay, A&W is just next door and it was very convenient to us to have a good breakfast. We will definitely stay here again. be back

I checked into the Wilshire Inn in Claresholm (Nov. 13th) while getting work done on my vehicle. I was only supposed to be here 2 days but it has turned into 6 days. I will be checking out hopefully in another day or two. What a fantastic hotel this is. I love it here. And I wouldn't hesitate to come back. I love the decor. I have tons of desk space (7 feet long guestimate) and huge TV with fridge, microwave and internet. The internet does go in and out here and there but it's fine. The rooms seem new, very clean, the bed is very comfortable and the heat/ac/fan controls are very easy to use and very effective. If I'm cold -- I just have to turn the dial and the room is warm in 5 min. Or I can cool the room down just as fast. I love that they have a laundry room on the main floor, a meeting room also on the main floor and a kitchen on the 2nd floor for us to use which has been awesome ! The hotel is next door to A&W and a Tim Hortons is also very close by. It is about a 1 km walk to a quaint little coffee shop (Blackwood coffee co) who have home made soups, sandwiches, sweets, lattes etc. Across the street from them is a grocery store (IGA). The staff here at The Wilshire are wonderful. And it's quiet here. One of the best places I have stayed for sure.
