This home is a studio yet lends itself to sleeping up to six. We offer a California King bed, one sleeper sofa couch that pulls out to a full size bed, another couch that can be turned in to two twin size trundle beds, and a very nice Queen size self-inflating mattress if needed! Pack and Play is in the closet.A fully stocked kitchen is ready for you to make home-made meals throughout your stay. We also have a ready to go picnic basket that includes a sand blanket, picnic tablecloth, cups, plates, utensils and two microfiber beach towels for an on-the-go adventure! Step outside to the front yard for a game of croquet and badmitten or head to the garage for a game of ping pong and darts! Bikes and scooters are also available. We also offer books, board games, and puzzles for a family game night. Misty Glen sits amongst old growth trees, plants, flowers, and a walking trail around the yard where you can picnic if you like. Sit on the deck in the morning and relax with your morning beverage while enjoying the park in your front yard. Close to Mountains and Sea and beautiful lavender farms. Olympic Discovery Biking Trails are right around the corner along with lots of local shopping and restaurants. Agnew Store is just down the road as is Sunny Farms Grocery store.Head West to explore Hurricane Ridge, Lake Crescent Lodge, MaryMere Falls, a trip to Third Beach, Ruby Beach, or Rialto Beach, and the Hoh Rainforest! Head North for a day trip to Victoria, BC or stay right where you are to wander local lavender farms. How about golfing at Dungeness Golf Course for a round of golf and delicious dinner and drinks at Stymies? You can also visit Skyridge Golf or go to Peninsula Golf Course in Port Angeles, which is approx. 15 minutes west. A wonderful local farmers market also goes on downtown Sequim every Saturday from 9-2. Shopping, Coffee shops, and antiquing are always fun to do as well. For a memorable hiking experience, visit the Staircase Rapids Loop. It is a scenic and easy 2.2-mile hike suitable for families and beginners. The trail begins with a walk through lush old-growth forests, where towering trees draped in moss create a magical atmosphere. Ferns blanket the forest floor, and sunlight filters softly through the dense canopy offering a serene start to your adventure. Our location provides a great base for all your adventures, or you may decide to just stay here. We are less than a mile to Discovery Trail for biking and hiking.Our spacious living room invites you to relax on the sectional and enjoy a movie, or your favorite program, on the 65" smart tv.Get a restful nights sleep on the king-size bed in a nice cool, air-conditioned bedroom. Or you'll find a very comfortable, full sized bed with an available privacy screen in the living room. The bathroom features a tub with a rainfall shower head and wand for a rejuvenating full body shower...very soothing. In the kitchen, we have provided all the basics such as spices, oil, sugar, flour, etc... for your convenience. Adjacent to our rental, you'll find a delightful chicken coop offering fresh eggs for sale to add a touch of rustic charm to your stay.Take advantage of the shared laundry with our sister rental the Creekside Cottage, which is located behind this rental.We understand that your furry companions are cherished members of your family. That is why we warmly welcome your well-behaved dogs and provide a few dog beds, bowls, & towels to ensure their comfort throughout your stay. Just bring their favorite blanket. We have 2 small dogs that love people, and other dogs, Gemma & Coco.We hope you'll enjoy an evening around a fire pit, time for smores, either on your front porch or our new fire pit down by the creek. We have put up a "privacy" fence for your comfort. The briquette bbq is in the firepit area if you prefer to use that. Maybe even enjoy a game of night golf...its quite fun once you get started, maybe a little competitive, and a whole lot of laughs. During the day there are chairs set up on the sandy beach by the creek for guests to use...so have a seat and dip your toes in the water, or bury them in the sand, while you breath in that fresh country air and just listen to that flowing water.We have recently put up a no worries hammock that has been stabilized at one end (no flips). Very relaxing and a great place to take a nap... I've done just that. Try the swing in the big Maple tree or play a game of horseshoes. The Sea Breeze is in a secluded location with a backdrop of towering evergreen trees where eagles nest, above the private beach where seals and seabirds are spotted as the waves crash ashore. It is less than two miles away from the paved Olympic Discovery Trail, the perfect trail for pedestrians, cyclists or equestrians. For more information on the delightful trail. The world famous Dungeness Spit, the longest spit in the world, is only minutes away by car or can be hiked to along the shore for those who enjoy hiking and beachcombing along the unpopulated, rugged beach. Be sure to plan your beach walks accordingly, however, as high tide can be treacherous if you are not prepared. (tide tables are listed in the local phone book).You will share our private beach trail with our other guests at Hunters' Gate Homes. It is a gated, five minute hike with some large steps which are not easily navigated by small children or inexperienced hikers. Once down to the bottom you will be rewarded with a beautiful beach where the fresh creek water forms a lagoon that spills out into the salt water Strait of Juan de Fuca. You can walk and beach comb to the Dungeness Spit or head in a westerly direction toward Port Angeles.The quaint little neighborhood store, Agnew Grocery & Feed, is only a five minute drive away, offering fresh local produce and a large selection of wine and other refreshments besides the basic grocery items. Sunny Farms Country Store is only ten minutes away where you'll find a larger variety of items including a deli and a fresh fish and meat market.There are four restaurants all within a ten minute drive which are all highly recommended. If you want to venture further away, both Sequim and Port Angeles each only a twenty minute drive offer many more choices for shopping and dining. The start of the road up to Hurricane Ridge and the Olympic National Park is a short twenty minute drive.
