Very disappointing - Room keys didn't work, heating made such a noise it kept me awake. Loo roll holder loose and dangerous, tap in sink didn't work properly. Reported it but nothing was done. Also the whole place was shabby and nothing really worked (WiFi awful)

Lots of problems and staff did not seem interested in offering any resolution. We booked a premium plus room, specifically because we needed a fridge, however when we arrived the fridge was broken and we asked for it to be replaced and we were told all the fridges in the hotel were broken also, which we did not believe. Also, my intention was to work whilst I was away, again, I intended to use the premium WiFi, which we paid for as part of our room, but this service was down and again, staff said, sorry - nothing we can do. Really poor experience and total waste of money paying for premium plus room at this hotel

I thought it was an outrageous price for one night stay. We looked the night before and got thrown off the website. When we looked again the price more than doubled. We had to pay for parking. It took 5 hours to get us towels. No fridge in the room.

Premier Plus Room at Premier Inn Clacton-on-Sea (Seafront) Whilst the breakfast and the bed was excellent the adulation stops there. The Premier Plus rooms boast excellent additional features, but room 202 provided little more than even one of there standard rooms, if that, and was extremely tired and in parts scruffy. The room service was diabolical. One has to inform reception on each day if you require the room to be serviced? We did this at 9am and even at 4pm it had only been partly completed and twice required my intervention to get it completed. We had requested a walk in shower or lowered bath and the selected room description alluded to the room having a shower. We were confronted with an approx.3 foot high bath with shower over -unusable to us. Also coffee machine not working, A/c not functioning, No shaver socket , No drawers, No toilet roll supplied, initially, Very limited shelf space in the bathroom Date of experience: 02 November 2024

Hotel in need of a major refurb. Room very grubby. Was woken by noise from room above. Also woken by picture falling off wall (not surprised when it turns out to be stuck up with looped masking tape!) and almost landing on child, who had moved into my bed because light was coming through holes in the curtains. Majority of staff were very friendly and helpful.

I’ve stayed in many premier inns the room was clean, what I expected with no issues. The hotel looks very good. The thing that would bring me back would be the staff, who were helpful, explained things well and most of all were friendly. Even staff members in passing. Thank you it is much appreciated.
