Ho già scritto una recensione su questo B&B dicendo che sarei tornata. Così è stato e confermo quanto già detto: un gioiello da tutti i punti di vista: pulizia, rifinitura dei dettagli, dimensioni della stanza e del bagno, comodità del materasso. Tutto semplicemente perfetto per un costo del tutto competitivo. E la proprietaria, Milena, è semplicemente fantastica: gentile, disponibile, accurata e immediata nelle comunicazioni. Suggerisco vivamente questa struttura, anche per soggiorni prolungati.

Per ragioni di lavoro ho pernotatto varie volte a Civitavecchia negli ultimi mesi, salutando la mattina tutte le strutture provate (hotel o B&B) con un deciso "a mai più!". Da ieri ho finalmente finito di cercare. Gallery Suite è un B&B semplicemente perfetto: nuovo, pulito, luminoso. Le stanze sono ampie, il bagno è grande e i sanitari eleganti. Il riscaldamento funziona a perfezione e l'acqua calda viene immediata a qualsiasi ora. Il letto è comodissimo, nella stanza si trova cassaforte, bollitore, tisane e caffè. La colazione è buona e servita (sebbene sia un B&B). Last, and not least, Milena è una host perfetta. Gentile, precisa, attenta a ogni dettaglio. Vi consiglio davvero di provarlo. E anche voi non cambierete più.

A very well situated room with easy train links to Rome and local shops and restaurants. Excellent stop over for cruise ship travel also. Accommodation was modern and well equipped. It’s on a main road, so could potentially be problematic to those light sleepers. Not an issue for us. The rooms are double glazed, so I’d say the street noise would be minimal. There’s also electric blinds outside of the doors which black out the room perfectly. Melina, our host, was exceptional. Very welcoming and would help with all our needs. Booking taxi/transfers was a breeze. Breakfast was the usual continental offerings of pastries, jams, cereals, cheeses, hams, fruit and yoghurts. We really enjoyed our stay here and would certainly stay again if we were catching another cruise ship from Civitavecchia.

We (my husband and I and my brother and his wife) stayed at this bed and breakfast for one night pre-cruise at the end of April. I will say this from the start—I was a bit apprehensive after I had booked the rooms and then searched Google maps because of the area, but the reviews were so positive. I needn’t have been worried. The suites are very safe and secure, and the area felt safe as well. The rooms were immaculately clean and fresh. Each of ours had a quaint balcony, and my husband spent a lot of time out there just people watching. There are four rooms, and all were occupied by those going on the same cruise. Milena (our host…the owner?) had been in touch with me leading up to our stay and kindly arranged a taxi to the port for the following morning (only ten minutes, or so, but the streets were not conducive to rolling suitcases). She also ensured we had no intolerances for breakfast. Breakfast was perfect—hard-boiled eggs, pastries, fruit, yogurt, and delicious coffee and juices. The young woman helping us at breakfast was very pleasant and tried to help print our two of our luggage tags—very accommodating. Across the street there was a pizza place (Kebab Pizza?) where we ate an early dinner/late lunch when we arrived. It was yummy! Also, we had some gelato from another place across the street, which was delicious. Really a gem, and I’m so glad we stayed here.

The communication with our host was excellent...quick to respond, helpful with restaurant suggestions. Car garage was available for $10. I was disappointed with the room, particularly the shower...the shower floor had yellow stains, the shower holders in the shower were rusty in parts, and the base of the shower required a thorough cleaning. A bath mat had a small blood stain, and a small area of a pillow case was dirty. We booked our 2 nights in Feb, and requested a room away from a lift...that was not honored. Our breakfast the second morning, was not as plentiful as our first morning...no boiled eggs, no orange juice. You cannot help yourself to coffee, the host is the one to only use the machine. Given our exoerience, we will not return to this establishment.

We needed a place to stay because we were going on a cruise the next day. After quite a bit of research I booked Gallery Suites. Nice place Layla was very nice. Check in was a breeze we were picked up at the airport by a driver she recommended, he didn’t speak English but used his phone to translate. Our room was ready before the official check in time we really appreciated that our bodies were tired from the overnight flight. The breakfast room was cute we had a light breakfast before checking out and Leyla arranged a taxi to the port that was about 10 minutes away. I would stay here again if visited the area.
