I stayed here 2x (July 25-26 and Aug 8-9) as my family is making a cross country move and this is the halfway point. The 2nd time, I booked the wrong dates, which was my fault, so when I arrived I paid for a new booking. I still had the reservation for the wrong date, so I tried to change the date to when we would be coming down to close on our old house (Aug 27-28). I did book 3rd party, but I called both the hotel and the 3rd party to try to change the dates. 3rd party spoke to someone named Quay who said they changed the dates with no additional charge. I called the property the next day and they were unaware of the change. 3rd party site reached out on my behalf and they refuse to make the change without additional payment. They also refuse to refund me, even though I stayed twice and made payment for my mistake already.

Everything was fine love the room but for the price you pay should offer Breakfast not just free coffee

This hotel was great! Our room was clean and very comfortable. I am sorry to say that I can not spell the names of some of the very wonderful front desk people that were incredibly helpful. Met a guy name Jacob he was staying at another hotel because they were booked but comes over for the bar and I guess they also do karaoke. We weren't there for that but wish we were. We were able to get everyone in our group on the same floor which was beyond amazing. Room was nice, clean and I did not notice any noise issues. Parking is free and there is a whole foods and a Trader Joes that you can walk too. Fun atmosphere so I'm not sure why there aren't better reviews! Our whole team loved it!! We will be back!!!

I am a lifetime platinum bonvoy member who has stayed at this hotel numerous times while visiting my son, who is completing his studies this weekend at the University of Richmond. This Marriott facility is top-notch, we love the m club, and the staff is excellent. I have a major disappointment with the insensitivity of the timing of a power outage this weekend during our stay. The time was negotiated with the local power company and it is for the four hours immediately preceding the University of Richmond graduation. The hotel is full of guests, parents, grandparents, who are all going over to the University of Richmond‘s graduation in the early afternoon. No water, no power, no blow dryers, no phone charging, no AC, no lights in the bathrooms, is not acceptable. Had we known in advance, we would have booked an alternative hotel. (These rooms were booked months ago.) The staff is very apologetic, and while they may well compensate with points or comped nights, what we really need is for this outage to get postponed. I don’t know how else to get word to management and am hoping this post helps elevate this need and some sensitivity on the part of management.
