Its not the nicest hotel, but it's definitely not as bad as some of the other reviewers describe. We had a fire at our home which ended up causing more damage than initially expected, so my family has frequented almost all the hotels in the area. During my experience the woman at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. And the room it's self was not bad at all. We had stayed at another hotel right down the street which has much better reviews, but we had to change rooms twice during our stay because of the horrible ant problem! If there is any rif raf at night it was me, because with 3 children I tend to get more done (like laundry- they had a nice room right on site) while they're asleep. However, I didn't see anyone else at all outside. That same other hotel with better reviews had a party going on in the parking lot every night. I felt comfortable with my kids being there during this tough time and overall we had a good experience. Hopefully it would be under better circumstances, but if we ever needed a hotel in the area again, this place would be our first option.
I had a dog event not far from Bordentown. I had stayed here before the the hotel was OK and I wanted to stay at another local hotel. But the price for my dog was more than I wanted to spend. So I decided to stay again and I was pleasantly surprised how clean and updated the room was. (I even went to the manager and thanked him) The staff there couldn’t be any nicer and helpful. I had trouble with my keycard and the manager resolved the problem. While at the dog event, I did tell people there how nice our stay was.
