Clean and comfortable, this hotel is. I stayed here for an extended period of time recently and can attest that all of the favorable reviews are well-earned. Most of the clientele are working people in the area working on various projects. It's a quiet place, the beds are comfortable, it's in a good safe location, and the owners live on the premises. The owners see to it that the accommodations are kept clean and in good repair. Of note - the towels are fluffier than one normally finds at hotels, and that's a plus. The wifi is about average for a hotel, not as good as you may have at home but still quite functional. Breakfast is the usual hotel staples of waffles and cereal, and plenty of good coffee. Be sure to stop by the lobby and pet Zoe, the owner's Blue Healer. Also, on occasion, there is an adorable African Grey parrot, LarryByrd visiting the lobby. If you say 'hello' to LarryByrd he may not say 'hello' back, but when you leave he'll say ”bye-bye-bye!”
First, let me acknowledge the awesome service from Haley and Monica at the front desk. Monica was outstanding and helping our elderly grandparents with their room. Haley pretty much covered everything else that we needed. The rest of the staff was just as exceptional. If you’re ever in del Rio, it is a must that you stay at this hotel. I never expected five star service in Del Rio, Texas. But that’s exactly what I received. Thank you the management is staff at the La Quinta hotel in Del Rio Texas.
Muy limpio todo me gustó mucho la limpieza de mi habitación, de hecho me quede otro día adicional al primero que reserve por lo mismo, lo único es que no me cambiaron del 2 piso al primer piso, ya que debía dejar la habitación para que la limpiaran y sacar mis cosas, y regresar a hacer de nuevo check in , creo que solo dejaré una nota para la próxima que sea en un primer piso porque no tiene elavador!
I am a Hilton Diamond member, so I have been to countless Hampton Inn properties. I highly recommend this location for the following reasons: 1. Clean, comfortable rooms. I even had housekeeping service the second night of my stay without requesting it, which is something that the hotel industry has done away with post-COVID. 2. Friendly, helpful staff. 3. A delicious, well stocked breakfast buffet, with all the types of food typically found at Hampton Inns. 4. I stayed during a season when the days were warm and the nights cold. The air conditioner and heather both worked very well to keep the room comfortable. 5. The location was within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and is located in a safe and new part of town. I spent two nights at the Hampton Inn Del Rio, and would have liked to have stayed longer!
