After being unhappy at another chain location, I switched from my usual brand and joined Radisson Rewards for this booking, with a great rate. Arrived here from ROCHESTER International Airport by LYFT ride, not knowing how long I would be staying, or what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised. Located in a nice area, on busy Route 31, Monroe Ave , East of the city, but still close to all major attractions, like GeorgeEastman House, Memorial Art Gallery, Highland Park, Rochester Museum and Science Center, by car, also on city bus routes. My comfy accessible room is roomy and restful, with a King bed and roll-in shower, many safety bars in bathroom. There is a window unit for climate control , Microwave and fridge in my room, and a 40 inch flat screen TV that has a sharp picture with premium channels. Room and lobby WIFI works well., except with my Apple phone. Cozy family reading area with adult and children's books and a single computer/printer business center in lobby. I was happy to find a small coin operated laundromat and a tiny gym, with two machines. Amenities include a very good hot and cold breakfast served in lobby, with 24/7 refreshment and coffee/tea bar. Spunkmeyer cookies at desk, a small convenience store for essentials, including frozen entrees. Smoke free premises, however there is an outside seating area, with wooden Adirondack chairs and a fire pit for smokers. Four Electric car charging stations make this a great location for modern savvy travelers who care about the environment. Coffee-Tea stations in room and lobby were well stocked. The diverse cheerful and helpful staff keep all common areas very clean; all of them are very helpful and accommodating . I enjoyed conversing with International guest clientele in several languages, including Japanese tourists. With rewards member rates, its a great deal and price point. Ethnic restaurants and shopping nearby, including Pittsford Plaza and Eastview Mall . I recommend this hotel to all traveler friends in this area, and beyond, including my 50,000. travel chat buddies on Facebook, Yelp, and TripAdvisor, without hesitation. 遇上一次火警，我開門到樓道裏站了好一陣，工作人員跑來跑去，卻沒有人叫我撤到室外，於是以為不用出去，火警一直不停，我撩開窗帘往外張望，才有已經撤離到室外空地上的工作人員看見我，用手勢讓我到室外去，這時消防車都來了。他們沒有有效組織、督促、檢查客人撤離，好在火警不嚴重。 最後一天，house keeping 將我們兩人放有牙具的杯子一起收走了。應該明顯不是垃圾，因為裏面有牙刷牙膏外，還有牙線、牙縫刷。並且，前幾天都這樣放着也沒發生問題。奇怪。 前台個別服務員態度冷淡。 其它尚可。

我們在這個位置住了4年半了。孩子是RIT的學生。學校就在附近,高速公路和購物也是如此!就像我們大家一樣,酒店正在展示它的年齡,但工作人員絕對彌補了它總是樂於助人,並竭盡全力使它成爲一個愉快的訪問。

酒店服務很好，設備很新，這次感覺比其他酒店更安全。房間很大，很舒適，位置也不錯。如果開車的話就不太遠了。

The Hilton Garden Inn is located within the Rochester University campus and only 5 minutes away from the wonderful and historic Mount Hope Cemetery. The hotel has a nicely decorated and welcoming lobby, with a restaurant on site that serves breakfast in the morning (my visit included the breakfast plan since I do not like going to look for breakfast in the morning). There were two comfortable double beds and a nice large bathroom in the room. Bed Linen and towels were clean and fluffy. The breakfast off the menu was good. I did not use the buffet but it did not appear to have a large variety. The hotel is a good jump off point to explore the Erie Canal, the fall colours of the Finger Lake District or just to walk along the Genesee River waterfront trail (which is lovely for walking and riding). So now for my issue with the housekeeping policy (not the housekeepers I would like to add). And yes, I am going to get political here! We were told upon arrival that because of Covid the rooms would be cleaned on the fifth day of stay or if we request it by calling before 8am the day we wanted to have the room cleaned. OK, policy understood! Some people can go for days without needing the room cleaned, I am not one of those people. One of the things I like most about staying in hotels is having daily housekeeping and arriving back in the room with the bed made and fresh towels if I leave them in the bath tub (which I do not do everyday). So twice we called, before 8 am to make the appointment. The phone rang for a long time, eventually we spoke to the front desk and the person took the room number and confirmed the request. Twice the room housekeepers never came and the room was never cleaned. What the hotel and the Hilton chain, as a whole, will not freely admit is that they have turned housekeeping into a ”gig” economy. The housekeepers are suppose to wait each day for a call. If they get a call, they work, if they not, no work. No work, no pay. So, to the surprise of no one, those mostly women of color were smart enough to get a regular and better paying job else, with guaranteed hours. That has left a smaller pool of available housekeepers. The hotel chain is making excessive profits on the backs of the lowest paying people in the hotel business. In addition, they do not tell you when you book that the room rate does not include housekeeping (so ask before booking), they do not amend the rates because they no longer clean the rooms. Same rates less service! There is simply something wrong with that business model that I cannot move on from as a traveler. In the future, I will be vetting the house keeping policy for all hotels before book.

一如既往的令人驚嘆的住宿體驗。喜歡這家餐廳

我們走進大樓,前台區一位先生打電話,早餐區幾位女士聊天。我們等了幾分鐘,等那人接下電話,這時一位女士走過來問她如何幫我們,我們進去的時候,沒有任何跡象表明她在那裏工作。房間在小的一邊,過時了,裏面的傢俱破舊了。我們給的房間的桌子是放在它最後的腿上。牀和冰箱都很好。有微波爐我們沒有用。還有Keurig和4個咖啡/茶。浴室很簡陋。浴缸被弄髒了。浴缸裏有一個橡膠墊,當你使用浴缸時,它部分地被提起了。不確定是貼紙還是橡膠墊,我不敢擡起來檢查。令人驚訝的是,衛生間裏所有的產品都是鴿子,不是一般的HIE東西。泳池關閉。早餐很好,有2種雞蛋和肉可供選擇,還有面包、水果、穀類。煎餅機壞了。

房間乾淨，工作人員友善，早餐稍簡單，衹有幾種食物選擇，近strong博物館，步行1分鐘，停車場可以直接用博物館的場子，會再來。
