In one sentence - I would avoid staying here again, but it wasn’t so bad that I had to leave. Check-In was a bit of an ordeal. The two families in front of me each took about 10 minutes to check in so I had time to look around the lobby. The chairs in the lobby were clearly stained and frankly just in need of being replaced. The vending machine was literally sold out of everything. The sign at the front desk stating the pool was closed for ‘maintenance’ had obviously been around for a few seasons. The staff member who eventually assisted with my check in was pleasant, if not in a hurry. Upon arriving on the third floor I was immediately blasted with the smell of smoke - tobacco and other more potent smoke. As I was entering my room one of the couples who had checked in before me was making their departure, with the kids talking about the bugs in their room and parents vowing that they certainly weren’t going to be spending the night at this hotel. Upon entering my room the smell of smoke was still overpowering, despite the sign warning of a $250 fine if there was to be smoking in the room. I searched the room up and down for evidence of any bugs and found none, but did find plenty of signs of age. Wallpaper peeling back to uncover dark stained walls in the bathroom. A window cushion that was stained and generally frayed. The beds had clean linens of low quality and miniature pillows only. The carpeting was either from the decade of my birth, or just thoroughly in need of a deep cleaning. I very much enjoyed the sign in the bathroom listing the prices of all the rooms equipment in case any guests wanted to help themselves to any of their ‘popular’ amenities. $50 for an alarm clock from 1993? $20 for a pillowcase? I think not. I decided to stay and got a decent sleep, though all the items in my suitcase picked up the smells of the place. If I had planned on staying more than a single night I would have probably followed the other family to a different hotel in the area. It beats sleeping in your car, but not by much.
Best comfort money can buy!! The staff especially Suny and Billy were amazing!! They were attentive, personable, knowledgeable, friendly, and absolutely welcoming. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything one needs. I will recommend this hotel 💯 percent!!!! I will also go back.

Front desk service was great. Breakfast was great. That was all that was great. Housekeeping clerk wheeled her cart down the hall with a dog in it. Dog jumped out and ”greeted” us before running into the room. Not nice. Bathrooms extremely narrow - difficult for mobility challenged guest. Reprimanded by breakfast crew for trying to carry food for handicapped person to the room in my own container (to avoid spilling). Furniture old, tattered. Would not stay again.
