I was really impressed with this hotel. Sure, it's basic, but it has everything you need. The front desk staff was super helpful and spoke English well. Breakfasts in all of Peru, as I found, were simple, and this was no different. But they had eggs and toast, coffee, juice and tea so I was happy. The beds were comfortable and the views are great. I do recommend this hotel! It's super clean, too.

Beautiful place to stay in Ollantaytambo. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The WiFi is good and the breakfast great. The restaurant and cafe are also excellent for lunch, dinner, snacks and coffee. The hotel is located inside the train station, which makes it extremely convenient for the trains to Machu Picchu. It's like an oasis of peace with its lush gardens between the rooms. The staff are really helpful and professional. I'd absolutely recommend El Albergue and will definitely be back
