When we arrived and saw that yellow old house by the road our impression was that we had made a mistake. How wrong we were! What a beautiful hotel! We had a room in the mansion that had a breathtaking view of the ocean and was very comfortable. Beautiful bathroom. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and kind. Lunch and breakfast outdoors in the terrace with that amazing view were experiences in themselves. There is access to the ocean via an elevator from the hotel to a concrete platform where there are towels, beach recliners and shades. If you want to swim you go in the water via concrete stairs. There is a bar in the lido. Easy parking in the hotel. Excellent starting point for exploring the Trieste area. We would love t return in the future!

We stayed at the Urban Hotel prior to going on a cruise. The hotel was in an excellent location. Walking distance to the cruise terminal and train station. Our room was modern and clean. We were on the the fourth floor. Our room was very quiet. We could hear the church bells in the distance. The town square was a hop, skip and jump away. Perfect location. We would definitely stay again. The hotel had an amazing buffet breakfast. So many choices.

Strategicamente molto buona essendo in centro Qualcosina si potrebbe migliorare magari inserendo un materasso matrimoniale in lattice invece di due singoli a molle. Il parcheggio è un po’ problematico

We had some issues getting to the hotel due to the very slow passport control at Trieste airport and so turned up about 12:30 in the morning. Once we found the hotel we rang the bell several times and did not notice the sign stating that if closed go to the Intercontinental on the other side of the pedestrian area. The receptionist came across and guided us to the other hotel where we booked in and then he came across, showed us the key to get in and up to the lift where we went up to our suite. The suite was a good size with a microwave, fridge, kettle, pots and pans etc. The room was clean and the bed comfortable and the room was quiet so we got a good nights sleep. The breakfast is in the other hotels' restaurant but it is less than a minute to walk across to it. Breakfast choice was not great - you have to choose your breakfast from a menu and it would have been better to have a buffet type. The hotel was quite expansive and I did not feel that it was worth the cost.

We booked this apartment for a one night say before going on a cruise, it was an excellent choice very handy to get to from the Frixbus which came from Venice to Trieste in fact a 7 minute walk. Edward the guy at reception was very helpful with excellent English with good tips where to eat etc. The apartment itself was very spacious and roomy with good facilities for cooking in-house it was also very quiet as it is in a very central location it is ideally where you want to be if you are staying Trieste. The town itself has lots to see and do with plenty of restaurants bars and takeaway places I would highly recommend this place and would go back if we return for a vacation.
