Great Spotlessly clean hotel. Sincere and friendly staff. Reasonably priced drinks and food. Great value in fact. Cannot fault the place. Definitely will stay here again It's in a great location too. Right next to Blackpool tower. Excellent acts at night and very accommodating towards children.
My daughter and I had a wonderful stay here at The Ocean Bay Hotel located on the promenade nearer South Shore within walking distance to the Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle Waterpark. Our double room was clean and comfortable with a sea view. Breakfast amenities were ample as was free parking out front. The hosts were very hospitable and friendly. I would highly recommend this location if your looking for a family friendly hotel located in a quieter location of town.
BED BUGS :-( We was horrified to find big bed bugs crawling on our duvet and pillows when we went to bed so we checked out at 2am. Took a video as proof however the staff stated they were aware of a previous infestation but believed it to have been sorted, clearly not!!! Manager checked the next day and agreed she had seen evidence of them herself on checking after our complaint, and assured us that pest control had been contacted. Full refund was given however the issue is obviously still ongoing. Also our room did not look quite as clean and modern as the online photos and the bathroom was tiny, old, dated and dirty! Only one window opened slightly. Really disappointed to say the least!
It's a little far from Blackpool North Station, but the rooms are very spacious. It's not a super luxury hotel, but it's very clean and comfortable. There is also an elevator.
The Henson hotel is a little far from the station and downtown, so if you have a large suitcase, it's a good idea to take a taxi.
There are buses and trams running so it's fine even at night.

Was very helpful on Intial bookings with fast responses.travel cot was provide upon asking. Nice little bar down stairs with pool table which son enjoyed. Shared bathroom, has sink in bedroom with mirror and tea/coffe facilities. No breakfast or food facilities available however booking does state this as under renovation which did not affect stay. Can be noisy on the night specially with bar over road. Was hot in the room however u able to keep window open due to noise from bar. Bonus free parking available which saves alot of hassle.
Fantastic 2 nights stay at the windsor house hotel, Bob and Mary made us feel very welcome. We arrived early, our room wasn't ready but we could leave our bags no problem. This hotel is lovely, clean and very comfortable, lovely tea tray in the room with fluffy clean white towels, Continental breakfast, with lots of extras and goodies, this went down so well with our boys. The hotel is only 5mins from the center of blackpool and coral island, 10-15mins walk to the train station. We've already booked again for next year. Thanks again for a brilliant stay.
Host was very friendly and welcoming, the room was spotless and looks brand new , the bed and furniture throughout looks brand new and carpets throughout look brand new , very stylish and well decorated wallpaper looks brand new and kids room had double bunk beds with tele on wall with mini foam sofa that folds out for kids to lay on which was a nice touch. Theres fans in both rooms also for when it gets hot. Plenty tea and coffee and they added extra next day which was lovely. The bathroom looks recently refurbished sink and toilet look brand new and shower also looks new or newish . Very stylish throughout. Plenty of coat hangers also look brand new .nothing to complain about in room only suggestion would be to add some board games for kids in their rooms would be a extra nice touch . also to finish the bar downstairs as unfortunately that wasnt open due to it still being refurbished and wasnt ready for guests.i would definitely book here again as its literally 5 minutes walk from central pier and sealife centre and arcades so cant get much better for location. If you book this hotel you wont be disappointed with the room as it was spotless and good size .definitely recommend others to stay and price was good , wasnt too expensive seemed fair price and location was spot on .
The hotel was immaculately clean the deluxe family room was excellent for us with 2 teenagers two great sized bedrooms within one room and excellent shower room the recommendation for breakfast was super the best hotel we have stayed in Blackpool

We paid 118 quids for service which is quite nice for 5 people staying for a night. As we were visiting the Blackpool pleasure beach and carrying backpacks would have been difficult so we requested the hotel staff to keep our luggage while we checked out and were gone out for the entire day, and thankfully they agreed. All in all I loved the overall service, highly commendable.
Having read many reviews on this hotel pleasantly surprised how nice it was Kyle was very nice upon arrival explained everything about the hotel, parking is round the back we had a small car so easy to manage £9 to park overnight just as cheap as local car parks, we stayed in room 8 on the top floor everything you need for a nights stay we did notice only 2 plug sockets but there is an extension lead in the draw bathroom small but for a quick shower ok, tea coffee ect Probably the best hotel we have stayed in Blackpool and would go again Local to all shops and beach front
With only a few hundred feet to the waterline, I easily found way there. Arriving late, I was welcomed by a friendly host, and delegated a cozy and comfortable single room - even with a small snack upon arrival. While the ocean-view would be the other side of the building, I got to enjoy looking at the local church and the city-scape. It was really incredibly cozy.

Tv and tea/coffee in room. No breakfast available as no chef currently employed. £50 cash deposit must be given on check-in which was returned with no problem after room inspection. Well stocked bar and karaoke with bingo was played on Friday and Saturday night. Parking available at £10 a night but looked a bit risky out the back so didn’t park here. Reception not always manned and can be a long wait for someone to come after pressing bell. No hot water on 2nd morning so it looks like the early risers take all the hot water. For the price for a family of 4 over easter it wasn’t as bad as some reviews.
