Arrived at 1510 hrs, check in is 1500hrs. We were given room 215, as we opened the door, we saw dirty dishes, unmade bed, towels on bathroom floor. Returned to reception, they apologised and gave us room 212. I thought maybe a room upgrade or a complimentary drink at the bar would have been a nice gesture for their mistake. However, we weren't offered anything. Room 212 was clean and well presented with a balcony over looking the park. The superkingsize bed was so comfortable. Lovely toiletries, fluffy towels, robes and slippers. Complimentary sparkling and still water in the mini bar. Nespresso coffee machine in the room and a good selection of teas. We enjoyed the pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Had a couple of drinks at the bar, €32 for 1 gin & tonic and 1 bacardi and coke. Bar service was swift, friendly and professional. We didn't eat at the hotel. We walked through the park to the town, very handy. Check out time is 1200 hrs which is great. I feel that reception staff weren't very friendly, I think there may have been staff training going on.

Génial, mais l'accueil n'est pas toujours à la hauteur. Merci à la dame brune de l'accueil c'est tout à votre honneur pour votre sourire qui a été absent avec les autres quand je suis revenue. Ce n'est jamais la même personne à l'accueil, la maintenance du lieu d'accueil n'est que le matin. Chambre propre Femmes de ménage très studieuses.

I stayed at this hotel very briefly for just one night in January 2024. It's on a quiet street, close to restaurants and stores. The train station is maybe a 15-minute walk. Staff was friendly, room was clean, wifi was fine, bed was comfy, bathroom had lots of hot water, a soap bar and a small shampoo bottle. It's in an older building so for example, you have to be careful because of the dormers and the window was very old and worn. Price was fine. I would stay here again. The boulevard overlooking the mountains is just about three blocks away often some beautiful views.

We had very enjoyable stay at this hotel, which is conveniently situated and in a quiet location. We arrived by train and took a taxi to the hotel. It is only a short ride but the town centre and hotel is an uphill journey; alternatively, there is a funicular which can be used to avoid the uphill section. We walked to the train/bus station for our excursions on public transport and also when leaving Pau. A warm welcome greeted us on our arrival and we found all the staff we met very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and we had plenty of space; the bed was very comfortable and the shower good. A very good breakfast was provided. We would certainly use this hotel again if returning to Pau.

J ai réservé cet hôtel du Jeudis 5 décembre à ce matin 9 décembre ,or hier soir en rentrant le lit semblait être fait ..mais quand j'ai ouvert le.lit..surprise c'était fait n' importe comment.Le drap de dessous était mal mis et tout chiffonné..j en ai fait part ce matin à l 'accueil...qui n en avait rien à faire..donc je le signal car c 'est pas Professionnel du tout.!
