Horrible service client. J’ai réservé une chambre dans cet hôtel lundi 15 janvier au soir pour une nuit du mercredi 17 au jeudi 18. J’ai rappelé le mardi 16 janvier dans l’après-midi pour demander d’annuler ma réservation car j’étais positif au Covid-19, de plus les conditions météorologiques m’obligeaient à rentrer chez moi plutôt que rester bloquer dans le Nord de la France (pour rappel : neige, pluie verglaçante). On m’a dit au téléphone que la réservation était bien annulée… sans me prévenir que le 18 janvier au matin j’allais être prélevé de 146€ (le prix d’une chambre). J’ai essayé d’échanger avec l’hôtel pour justifier mon annulation tardive mais faute de bon sens ils n’ont rien voulu entendre ! Maintenant je dois m’assoir sur 150€, parce qu’il a neigé et que je n’ai pas voulu contaminer les clients et le personnel. Je vous déconseille de mettre vos pieds dans cet hôtel car le service client est à vomir.

We had been here at least twice before and had no problems. This time sadly it was very disappointing. On arrival the window was open in the room so of course being January it was very cold. We closed the window and stayed in bed until we could go out to eat. On return, the room was no warmer, and nothing we did would make the heating come on. There was an electric heater in the room and at first it did not seem to work either - we discovered in the morning, the thermostat had been turned to min. not max. We had tried phoning reception, she said something about adjusting from their end but I guess that was just to get us to leave her alone. In addition to the lack of heating the window even when closed, had cold air coming in around it (not very green!). No wonder the noise of kids revving motorbikes outside seemed so loud when we were trying to have an early night. I could also feel the draught in bed and had to sleep with clothing wrapped around my head. At breakfast when we went around 7.30 there were no spoons - not even teaspoons - and my husband was trying to eat stewed apple and yoghurt with a fork. Just as we were leaving they were putting them out. Please management, fix the window and heating in room 106! Even for an Ibis Budget this wouldn't have been good at all.

Stayed for one night on our way further south having wanted to avoid an overnight in Calais due to security concerns. It appears to be relatively new and this is reflected in the standard of the family room we booked. Though the room was fairly basic, everything was very modern and clean. The bathroom area was separate to the toilet and, rather strangely, privacy was maintained by a curtain rather than a door. However it worked without problems. There is a small bar but this seemed to close early and there was no sign of the vending machines you often get in French budget hotels. Breakfast was basic though reasonably priced and sufficient for our needs. Whilst there is no facility for evening dining, discounts were available at a number of local restaurants just ten minutes walk or five minutes by car. Would have no hesitation in using again.

Arrived from coming across on ferry so arrived after 9pm but checkin was very straight forward. Good breakfast and exceptional value for money. Perfect for one night stay

Stayed here many times - just off the autoroute. It’s a budget hotel but well appointed with comfy beds and tea/coffee tray. Didn’t eat there (as we tend to go out) but it’s good value and reliable. Staff are always friendly and helpful. There are many shops behind (include huge patisserie).

I booked the IBIS in Bethune as I wanted a base to aim for driving from Calais before travelling down through France and what a pleasant surprise the IBIS turned out to be. I had a warm welcome on arrival and the hotel was clean and modern. The room was also modern and clean with a grey toned patterned carpet, a double bed and the usual table, chair, wardrobe, shower room which the IBIS have. It was the usual budget room but was clean and comfortable. There was a tasty breakfast which had a good choice of breakfast food and pastries. Great hotel and would be happy to stay there again.
