The hotel seemed fine when I got there last night. My room was large and seemed clean, but I found hair in the bathroom, and the towel they gave me had large stains on it. There was no kettle, and no phone, so I used my mobile to call them and the staff brought a hot water kettle. I could not eat dinner because the chef was out and there was only fish and chips or chicken and chips (I'm a healthy vegan). The staff were friendly - I'll give them that. The AC was not working well. The worst things were - I gave them a $50 cash deposit, and they gave it back to me the next morning but later when I tried to use it to buy some mangoes, the vendor informed me that the note was out of circulation and I could not use it. I called the hotel and informed the front desk staff who gave it to me. She said she did it unknowingly, and had cc'd her General Manager on the email. It's now evening and there has been no reply from the GM. Meanwhile, I woke up at 5am to a bite on my shoulder - I found a bug on my blanket and squashed it. It was full of my blood. Later I researched its shape and it seems it might have been a bed bug or a flea. The bites are swollen and huge. I showed the bites to the front desk staff and she said nothing. I encouraged her to tell housekeeping. When I got home, and over the next few days, I had more large swollen bites and some little red bites too. Never going back, that's for certain. Not worth the $125/night.
The home stay is conveniently located close to the airport, at just around 10-15mins walk, but don't follow Google Maps, as they'd provide a wrong inexistent path.
The host is very helpful and the amenities are pretty basic but good enough for a one night stay. Towels and soaps are provided. Some kitchen utensils are also available for use or one could order some food from the home stay directly.
Finally, good amount of parking is also available.
__TX***ypBasic accommodation with a swimming pool and a shared sitting room as well as a kitchen. The use of the microwave and fridge are permitted.
Not outstandingly clean overall but it was okay for a night and wasn't uncomfortable.
The location is convenient and close to a supermarket, an ATM and bigger resorts, which offer free shows for entertainment, as well as a few restaurants to choose from.
Friendly owners :)
訪訪客It is a budget place to stay. The room with shower, warm/cold water has aircondition, is basic but the price/value for Fiji is good. Around 30 Euro for a double room. Nothing fancy but o.k. for short time. Pretty clean, bedsheets o.k. Can be a little louder when room to street, but o.k. Restaurants an shopping close by. Close to Beach Bar, Wailoaloa beach, other side of road. Not as on picture, a bit wear, need some update. Very easy, friendly checkin. There is Busstop to Nadi close by, 1,5 FJD. Will go there again.
訪訪客Crap breakfast.. either weet bix or 2 spread options and toast.. Force to pay $140 a night for this dive.. Ain't had any upgrades since the 1980s.. if it was anywhere else in australisa it would of been rebuilt.. Pool photos show kids slide... no slide... spa pool faulty... There is much better crash pads in nadi this is overpriced. Should be 70 a night max... Handy to other restaurants shopping and movie theater

訪訪客Our family of 4 adults rented two deluxe x 2br units and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grand West Villas. The main reason for visiting Fiji was to enjoy the seasonal local produce from farmers markets and cook to our own liking. The kitchen had adequate pots, pans & utensils for cooking. We found the bed linen & towels in good condition, & both units were neat and tidy. The Manager Deepshika and his support staff went above and beyond to make our stay a comfortable, enjoyable experience. Would recommend these villas to families wanting a comfortable home away from home stay without the exhorbitant prices of Denarau.
Free shuttle but only available at 5 am and 6 pm. Charging 20 in other times. Everything is free in limited time, except the breakfast. Almost all facilities are old. For CFC, a three-day stay is a must. Staffs are ok. Price are slightly below average.
