We stayed at this beautiful and cozy boutique hotel (est. 1870ies) for two nights in April. Frederikshavn is a small town so we could walk from the railway station to the hotel, and around. We were greeted warmly by the manager Helena and her staff. Each of the 18 guestrooms is different and stylishly decorated, the ambiance is very relaxed and home-like yet elegant. We got upgraded to a spacious suite on the ground floor with private access from the courtyard. There's no restaurant in the hotel but a wine bar and terrace where beverages and small snacks are served. The buffet breakfast in the same premises was very good. Local leisure center and swimming hall just across the street, if one wants to go for swimming. Apparently town of Skagen is just a 1/2 hour drive away but we didn't have time to visit that northernmost tip of Denmark. Park Hotel can be highly recommended: hospitality as its best!
