This turned out to be a nice surprise. We booked at the last minute because our other accommodation was cancelled at the last minute. We enjoyed the 1 bedroom beach apartment! Even though we didn’t have a beach view, it felt very private and was so close to the beach that we walked there barefoot many times. We enjoyed beach walks and swims. The apartment was perfect for cooking our own meals, so even though the accommodation is rather pricy, we could offset that by self catering. We had breakfast included in our deal and that was delicious.
First time at this park and it's location is just perfect. Entry at night can be a bit tricky as it's not well lit. We stayed in a ocean view cabin and it's location and view to ocean was fantastic. The cabin however was somewhat disappointing, on the plus it was clean with a great a/c heater, comfy bed with loads of extra blankets and pillows and nice little porch to sit out on and enjoy the sunsets. The negatives was that it was very dated, no lounge area, TV mounted high on the kitchen wall, uncomfortable chairs and a tad dated. The worst was that the curtains didn't close properly in any room especially the bedroom with the window backing onto the rest of the park. Was it value for money and would we stay there again - yes and sure would, we'd just go a little more prepared.
We loved our stay here. We'd booked a 3 bedroom chalet but that wasn't available so we were given 2 x 2 bedroom chalets with a connecting door. Perfect. Two living areas. Two kitchens. We could do our own thing. And then there's the environment. You are surrounded by bush with other chalets hidden behind trees. Utterly tranquil - if one ignores the magpies singing to wake you up and the sunset laughter of the kookaburras. There's even a small swimming pool in which to cool off after a hot summer day. We'd stay again.
We went as a group for a yoga retreat . The rooms were comfortable with ample space in the bathrooms and lounge areas. The mattress was super comfy and linen was clean. There were ample towels and toiletries to make this weekend stress free and homely. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who plans yoga retreats. The yoga studio was well heated, as it was 14C when we visited in November. The grounds are well maintained and there are enough parking spaces to accomodate visitors. Such a gem to find in Yallingup..!!
This was an amazing surprise. Fantastic accommodation that was extremely comfortable and very spacious. We were staying in an apartment and we could not fault it. It was clean, cozy and extremely comfortable. It had everything you could require for a comfortable, free and easy stay. A great location and base for visiting great beaches and the greater Margaret River region.
Excellent location, lovely hosts and superb room with balcony - a total chilling stay walking distance to a beautiful, safe beach and close to a golf course where one evening we counted 60 (yes 60!) large, small, old and young kangaroos feeding. Very near to other locations worth visiting- ask Serge for advice. Many, many thanks and when next we come back to W.Aus, we will be booking once we have confirmed dates. Many, many thanks! We have been regular visitors over the past 6 years. Each year it gets better! The quality of the food offering particularly has improved greatly in recent years. Both for breakfast and dinner. All our meals were first class with quite a bit of inovation. Despite being approx 20 years old the building hasn’t dated or looked “tired”. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Best accommodation in the area. Will be back next year
