Alojarse en Muchenje es una experiencia única. La calidez y pasión de todo el personal es realmente genial. La comida excelente, la cual se comparte con los demas huespedes y parte del personal. Realmente se esmeran para que la estadía sea inolvidable. Tips es un guía fenomenal y dispuesto a mostrarte toda la belleza del lugar. Amamos Botsuana, Chobe y especialmente Muchenje.

I have never been so impressed with an accommodation. We were welcomed upon arrival by Evelyn, Jost, Wame, and Mula. We felt like we were amongst friends immediately. With each amazing game drive with Jibbie, Rambo, and Phillie we fell more and more in love with Botswana. The daily meals in the dining hall are designed in such a way that fosters community and conversation amongst the travelers. This was one of our absolute highlights as we met so many fabulous people from all over the globe. The food was amazing and the excitement of game drives and the boat ride on the Chobe were the epitome of safari time. On our last day, we discovered due to an airport issue, our flight leaving Kasane had been canceled. The angels at Muchenje took us back in with their graciousness and helped alleviate an otherwise stressful time. Please tell the entire team (and John) that we appreciate your kindness and going the extra mile. You have all left us with amazing memories and friendship.

Everything about this lodge and the game drive/safari experience surpassed expectations! There were lovely surprises, our host seemed to appear everywhere! We saw an overwhelming amount of animals on games drives from land and water, beautiful sunsets and they anticipated our every need. We could not have been treated better. I can’t think of anything I’d change, what a wonderful and memorable experience!

My family (6 people total) stayed at Muchenje Safari Lodge, for 4 nights and 5 days. I never have, and probably never will again, experience the magic felt during our stay. Our transfer from Victoria Falls was easy, comfortable and we really appreciated the water available for the trip. We arrived at Muchenje, and were greeted with drinks on arrival, and a personal welcome by two of the lovely managers, Jost and Evelyn. From here, our stay unravelled into a beautiful, once-in-a-lifetime experience, leaving us wanting to stay for longer, and making promises to be back as soon as we could! The intimate experience evolves from the personal greetings at arrival, the dinners spent with other guests, guides, and managers, and the personal attention that each member of the staff gives to each guest, all day and every day. I truly don't know how they have the energy to give 110% at all times! We left feeling like the team was a family at Muchenje, and we really appreciated that they welcomed us into this family for a few days. Our guide, Tips, went above and beyond every day. From early morning drives, to sundown drinks, to close-up experiences with the animals - he made sure that we had a truly special experience. He answered every question without a skip of a beat, on all topics - birds, animals, plants, trees, animal tracks, culture, community. His deep understanding and respect for the animals truly amazed us. More importantly, the kindness, passion and support that he shows to his local community did not go unnoticed, and was appreciated by all of us. To name a few (there were so many!) - Special highlights include the chef taking time to prepare some local spinach that we purchased from the local village, the security guard (Jack) walking us a bit past our room to go look at a baby elephant, the impeccable service by the waitresses every night, the chat with Jost by the fire, Bryan and Mulah ensuring that we always had a Pina Colada in our hand, visiting the local village with Tips, and the personal touches left after our room was meticulously cleaned every day. Thank you for a wonderful and special time at Muchenje Safari Lodge. We will spread the word to all of our friends and family, and will be back one day!

Words cannot express just how good this place is and the staff are what really sets this lodge apart. From the airport pick up to the drop off I cannot find anything negative that I would like to highlight. Everyone one (Staff and guests) were all amazing, friendly and welcoming. Accommodation was awesome and view from the deck was stunning. Game drives were plentiful and varied and really only came back to eat and sleep! Nothing was too much trouble and always plenty of management and staff around to ensure a smooth running camp and attentive service. Thanks guys Julian

Where can I begin. The most magical beautful place in Chobe. All the staff including the guides cooks bar staff and security want you to have the best time. I didn’t want to leave after 4 memorable days in heaven. I cried many times at the experiences. I did not want to leave. Will go back in a heart beat. Prides of lions. 60 elephants playing in the water. A cheetah sitting on a log looking g right at me. Fish Eagles, hippo, majestic giraffe, herds of running zebra. The leopard evaded us but so many beautiful memories.
