Nice bed, large room, coffee shop around the corner. Other than that a pretty bad experience: lobby and breakfast room had windows and curtains closed 24/7 making it a depressing and musty smelling place. No one among the staff other than Christina speaks a word of English or had a clue about what working in a hotel entails in terms of service and attitude. The safe in the room didn't work and when asked to repair/replace the safe, nothing was done about it; the room was not cleaned other than a quick whipe in the bathroom, sheets were not replaced. When asked via google translate for laundry to be done (amenity according the website) I was told I could find the iron on the second floor if I wanted my clothes ironed. Second time around the laundry machine was "broken". The front door of the hotel is locked overnight and I had to look for staff in the kitchen to open the door every morning when going for a morning run. There would be no water for 1/2 hr in the morning but this could have been beyond the control of the hotel. The positive reviews of this hotel date from several years back. Management of this hotel has either no clue and/or lacks any incentive to get/train a team and services that put clients and their hotel experience central. Unacceptable for the price that we paid so we moved to another hotel downtown that was EUR20 cheaper and much better.

Clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Very comfortable, clean, tastefully decorated, and well appointed room, with many unexpected amenities. Comfortable bedding and very nice bathroom. Breakfast was basic but good, with several choices. Only disappointment is hotel advertised an airport shuttle, but really is just is a paid taxi.
