吉格默格盧爾度假飯店(Gateway Chikmagalur - Ihcl SeleQtions)

Have been to this place at least 5 times since the past 15 years. Chikkanagalur had chnaged but this property is still well maintained and had the same chill n fun vibe over the decade. The staff is always warm n helpful . This time I did a quick stay for my 20th anniversary without telling them in advance and they still were aware and had a surprise for us. The activities at the venue are also nice .. cycling, nature walk, evening hi tea n live music n singing, etc. We went for a quick short early trek to the Great Ridge at Mullayagiri with their activity rep Rahul and it was a lot of fun. Will keep visiting .. Taj standards of cleanliness, hospitality and food and experiences is always the best. 3 cheers to Darshan, Rahul n Debashish. The staff makes the place better

We stayed for a night as part of a family vacation. There was something for everyone here. Rooms are standard Taj, comfortable and well furnished and equipped. What stands out for me is the beautiful landscaping that attracts local birds and the property resounds with bird calls (tweets and whistles) all day long. As a birder, I found myself in the right place, especially with help from the resident naturalist who offered a helpful tour. Food is decent to good, though I would say, with due respect to the chef, a staple like sambar needs more attention. Everything else was fine. The staff is knowledgeable, proactive and responsive, and helpful. We had a memorable stay. Thank you.

We had a fantastic experience at The Gateway Taj, Chikmagalur! Their hospitality was truly warm and welcoming throughout our stay. Great experience. Wonderful hospitality. Clean and great environment. We stayed for two nights. From the time of check in to check out the experience was great. Ambience, parking facility, dining area are all really nice. Great place if you want to visit with your family and kids. It is away from the town center but not too far either

We had a great stay with Gateway Chikmagalur where the pros and cons are as follows: Pros: 1) Neat and Clean rooms. 2) Newspaper at the door every morning 3)Hig tea in the evening is really good to have while watching the sunset. 4) Polite staff. 5) good music and games every evening by prasanna. 6)Birds chirping all around 7) Good nature walk around Cons: 1) Overpriced buffet for dinner with respect to quality. 2)

My stay at Taj Gateway in Chikmagalur exceeded all expectations. The flawless room service, the warmth of the staff, the enjoyable activities, delectable cuisine, and the immaculate beauty of the property made it a truly exceptional experience. The fact that the hotel is pet-friendly added to its charm, and I am already contemplating a return with my family. Our recent stay at Gateway Chikmagalur-IHCL SeleQtions was really wonderful. Just imagine a weekend trip with our closest friends and family, starting with a nice drive from Bangalore on pretty roads. The place itself felt like a dream, with its beautiful surroundings making it perfect for us to relax. We spent lazy afternoons chilling by the pool, and the rooms were super comfy, making us feel like we were at a second home. Mornings were great, waking up to a yummy breakfast that had something for everyone. But the best part was the high tea by the pool, where we enjoyed our favorite Chikmagalur coffee while watching the sun go down. The service was outstanding. A perfect rejuvenation for us. The service from the staff at spa to the restaurant all were impeccable. I would highly recommend others to experience the same. The Tajness was at its best!
