Fun evening There was a big wedding party checking in around the time I arrived for check in. The front desk lady seemed overwhelmed but she did a great job getting through everyone and was wonderful. Our stay was great, relaxing, great pool time and check out was simple.

Overpriced for the condition Grossly overpriced for the condition and location I called before we came to see if we could bring a grill to cook out on their patio. We had stayed there before so I knew they had one. I also knew they had tables and chairs on the patio but couldn’t remember how many. I asked the person who answered about the grill and how many chairs they had on the patio. She said they didn’t have a patio or tables and chairs. I asked her to look out the window by the pool next to the lobby. She said she didn’t know it was there! The property was clean but could use some updating, especially at the prices they charge.

We were in Chetek for the Beer & Rib Fest. The property was great, good location, clean, nice staff. We would recommend the hotel.

WiFi did not work at far end of building and desk clerks twice claimed that was just how things were. Stop advertising wifi if it doesn’t work. Also the carpet was so filthy I had to wash my feet before putting on my socks or getting into bed. Had to take out the garbage in my own room and dirty towels were not taken for 3 days. I’ve stayed here many times over the last decade plus and was shocked at how bad of shape the place is now in. May be making other arrangements next year.

Staff was friendly. Pool was nice. Bed was comfortable. Location is great. The only thing i was missing was a water station. Lobby seating has a lot of taller bar type tables which is challenging for small kids. I would definitely stay there again.

Another good stay Good stay. Breakfast offered is basics but good. Stayed 2 nights no complaints. Does have pool and hot tub.
