We’ve been coming to Black Walnut Point Inn since 1989! Sunsets at Black Walnut Point are sensational! Innkeepers Bob and Tracy make sure you are comfortable and feel “at home”. They have a wealth of knowledge about the area and can guide you to places that fit your tastes, budget and interests. Accommodations are comfy and clean. You just cant beat the views and the hospitality!

A very unique place! Ideal if you want to get away from everyone and everything. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Super friendly hosts. Lots of history. Really enjoyed walking the local nature trail. Would definitely do it again!

incredibly unique place, love the bird life, including about a dozen bald eagles, the monarch butterflies, the landscaping and gardens and the humbling majesty of the cross. Bob an Tracy are great hosts. Tracy has amazing stories to tell. Delicious breakfast. Yew Cabin was very comfortable and great view right on the water.

This was the perfect weekend getaway!!! Waking up and watching the sunrise from bed was one of the highlights for sure!! My fiancé and I can’t wait to come back again and check it out different times of the year. The cabin had everything we needed for a quick trip.

Wife and I stayed 3 days for 41st anniversary. Bob and Tracy are wonderful hosts.

We stayed in one of cabins and it was just what we needed. Not fancy but couldn't have wanted more. The innkeepers are wonderful! Breakfasts were yummy and we weren't hungry until dinner! The gardens are glorious and so is the pool. Being able to watch the sunrise and sunset over the water is amazing! We're ready to go back already!

We had a wonderful trip. The property is a truly scenic spot. There are many birds in the area. Our room was the Talbot room and was comfortable. There is no TV, but there is internet. The hot breakfast was tasty. Tracy, one of the hosts, was very friendly and informative.

This spot feels remote, and at the same time has access to many great restaurants and things to do. We looked over water on the bay and a wide river on the other side; with a full moon, seeing it shine on the water was so peaceful and relaxing. Bob and Tracy as our hosts really made our stay with their stories, and wonderful warm hospitality. It's not a luxurious 5-star, and I'd take this over that any day of the week - the beauty, peace, a bit funky, historic, and feeling at home. Highly recommended to anyone
