Pleasantly surprised. Rooms were updated and comfortable.

Hot tub wasn't working. This is a pretty big deal to me since the pool/ hot tub was one of the reasons we booked this hotel, especially for a hockey tournament. Please disclose this information to your customers. One of the people in my group specifically asked at the front desk the day we checked in asking if the pool and hot tub were working. (He hadn't prebooked) and the employee said they were working. Not impressed.

The breakfast was a bit iffy, everything else was good. It would have been quiet if the people in the room next to us didn't come in like they were in a frat house yelling and banging, then trying to enter our room through the adjoining door, but that's not the hotel, that was just inconsiderate patrons. The egg like product, and those sausage shaped things were pretty rough on the guts though. Many bathrooms were victimized.

Clean, quiet and modern hotel. Nice breakfast. The front desk staff was very unhelpful, made multiple mistakes with the room that was books, and was nowhere to be found when they were needed unfortunately. There are also no plugs for vehicle block heaters in winter time.

Had to call the front desk multiple times and go down and talk to the employee to get them to do something about the noisy children and adults on our floor . Past 1130 when it started to quiet down . Unacceptable

Front desk was not occupied in the early morning and late evening. Found this funny for a large hotel. Anyone could have entered the building, so security was questionable? I would have expected a staffed front desk 24/7.

Staff contact was minimal but they were friendly and efficient. The property is in good condition, clean and the rooms are nice. Strathmore is a small town and we were traveling through on Hwy #1 so our opinion of the town is quite limited. Having said that the property is in a quiet location off the hwy and I had no concerns about safety.

My check in was not good, in the room the toilet was leaking before I got there, so they had turned the water off without fixing the problem. I was told they had no other rooms available so they could offer a discount to stay in a room where the toilet didn't work! I responded, not acceptable. Miraculously they found a room then. The room was not cleaned other than the bed being turned up, coffee, shampoo conditioner etc were not replenished. For a Wyndham property it was disappointing.

The staff are very rude. The rooms was dirty and smelled. Some of the homeless would harrass you in the parking lot and also would follow you in the elevator. Very unsafe. The breakfast was not good. Eggs are rubbery and sausages sitting in tons of grease. Potatoes not cooked. Will never stay again.
