We recently stayed at the Charnwood Regency for a family vacation and had a wonderful experience. The breakfast was great! Staff were really helpful and friendly throughout our stay. A special mention to Kerry, who was especially attentive and kind, and to Kirsty, who did a great job keeping our room spotless. The room itself was clean, spacious, and very comfortable – everything we needed was there, and nothing was too much trouble for the team. Overall, it was a great value stay, and we’d definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Where to begin, this hotel is simply outstanding. Firstly, I was warmly welcomed by the front staff who took me to the room. The room sizes are spacious, for the price also, the rooms are of a high quality. The attention to detail put into the furniture and decorations is unique unlike any other place I've stayed at. The bed was incredibly comfortable—perfect for unwinding after a day of work. The amenities were fantastic, with a great selection of toiletries, a fully stocked minibar, and high-quality towels and linens. The free Wi-Fi worked flawlessly throughout the hotel. The cleanliness is what struck me the most, every room I've stayed in has been immaculate. All in all, they always make you feel welcome and are the most helpful bunch of staff you could ask for. This is not the first time I've used Charnwood Regency and it won't be my last, I always leave with a smile.

I came to this guest house some years ago and returned because the staff were absolutely wonderful. This time I booked for my brother’s graduation in July and we had family visiting for this occasion, so we decided to make the most of it. The staff were wonderful, they accommodated all our needs, my grandparents were given their accessible room which was wonderful as many guesthouses do not have this facility. The rooms were immaculate and spacious. The staff were so attentive towards my grandparents which was lovely. Their accessible room also had a pull cord, so I was happy knowing if my grandparents needed anything in the night the staff would be alerted. A special mention to Kerry the manager and Kirsty the housekeeper. Kerry even made sure my gran’s dietary requirements were met for breakfast! Absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here and will be back for my sister’s graduation next year!

A group of five friends stayed here whilst we were visiting Loughborough University. It is clearly a hostel where the homeless and people with mental health conditions are housed by the council. The rooms had no soap, no shampoo and everything needed repair. Tv did not work and was kept awake by elderly people leaving TVs on all night. Just to make others aware. Ideal for a cheap hostel but we paid 100 pounds a night and was only worth 50.

Stayed here with my husband and parents. We chose the venue as they are happy to receive dogs. Matt our host was amazing. Very welcoming and helpful. The venue was exceptionally clean and the rooms are surprisingly large with a sofa/seating area. Breakfast was great. Matt spent time telling us about the area and the guest house. Exactly what we wanted. Walkable to town. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed here very recently with my parents, Both rooms were absolutely beautiful, very clean and couldn’t fault them. Everyone was really friendly and helpful and we had a lovely breakfast in the morning. I can highly recommend staying at this hotel and I’m sure we will be coming back.
