My apologies for the ratings but I am angry. I find the new parking system aggravating, demeaning, a complete hassle and it was hazardous as well. The web site re directed me several times to an entertainment site and prompted me to “create an account” which entailed entering credit card information a second time. I realized it was bogus and backed out and it finally processed my parking payment from my first credit card entry. I DO NOT MIND PAYING FOR PARKING- you can charge me double. But needing to scan a QR CODE AND go to an unknown and unfamiliar and possibly dangerous website and enter credit card information, under verbal threat by the front desk of getting a ticket, is a deal breaker for me. This has been one of my go-to properties for years when traveling in the Charlotte area, but I’ll be staying away from there from now on for this reason. I hope one day you find it in yourselves to simply add parking fees to the hotel bill like most hotels that charge for parking. I had just driven 7 hours from Maryland and fighting a difficult to navigate parking web site was the last thing I wanted to do, again, under threat of some type of punishment for not complying.
