Homewood Suites by Hilton Charlotte Uptown First Ward

We were in town for the weekend. When we checked in, a sweet girl named Olivia helped us and she was super friendly and helpful. On our second night, someone on our hall was playing loud music and yelling up and down the hall at 2:30 in the morning. My husband called the front desk to let them know. They said they’d send security right up and within 2 minutes we heard “Security”. We were very pleased with how things turned out. We stay there again.

The hotel was nice, and quiet, didn't hear doors slamming throughout the night like most hotels. Was told it was only 4 blocks from the convention center. Was actually like 10 blocks. Parking was a little over priced at $45. The valet never sent call links and it took 25-30 min to get our truck sometimes then they expected a tip as those links didn't seem to have any trouble getting through to my phone. Parking/valet would prob be my least favorite about the hotel. Breakfast was spot on! The staff were incredible in the breakfast area. Especially one lady I wish I had her name. My sone was getting over a chest cold and she made him a Honey Lemon Tea.

The variety of the breakfast can be improved.

Make sure to go down College Av to pull in between them and the Ellis to check in. It was pouring rain and we couldnt find out how to park. My only complaint is the $45 valet parking. Other local hotels charge much less. The employees and valet staff were exceptional, as was the entire site and room. Very new and clean. So much attention to detail! Beds slept great and my teens loved having a ring light for selfies. Morning breakfast was well stocked with wide variety.

We loved our stay! We will definitely be returning here next time we’re staying in Charlotte! Our room was awesome, staff was really great and friendly. 10/10.

The hotel itself is great, but the walls are paper thin. The room next to me decided to watch action movies ALL night long. I shouldn't have been able to hear the TV in the next room. I didn’t get a wink of sleep as a result, and it really affected my business trip.

Great hotel. Staff was very hospitable & courteous. Room was clean & in great condition. We had a great bedroom view of downtown as well. Overall excellent experience.
