Do not EVER go to this flophouse! I am a retired Captain for American Airlines and I have been around the globe in hotels in the last 40 years and have NEVER experienced such sad accommodations. Just a sampling but by no way all inclusive= TV didn’t work, front door would not latch closed, heat didn’t work, no air conditioning,curtains to parking could not be closed to casual observers, no tissues, no shampoo or conditioner ( “ there is a Dollar General down the road”), thankfully dirty loose carpet was dirt colored, filthy debris around beds, screen pulled open allowing anything to fly in to welcome you to this fine resort! We got stuck here for a wedding because habitual human accommodations were not available. I don’t want anyone to be injured, and I am disappointed in myself to say such a thing, but if this $188.00 a night flophouse burned to the ground the world would be a better place.

Nice Option for your budget. Nicely remolded for the most part. Manager was incredibly energetic, congenial, eager to please, very responsive to fixing heat supply and readily available through the entire stay. (don't lose her)! Very comfortable for the age of the building. Good value for the price. Good location in town.

The property is very outdated and could use some upgrades but for the price of the rooms it was not terrible. The staff was awesome and very helpful.

Upon waking on the morning of our stay we found cockroaches by the refrigerator. I contacted Gracie at the front office to inform her and request a refund. She agreed that a refund was appropriate but she had to get approval. She promised to call me back by noon but didn't. I called her and she told me the owners were not available and that they would call me by tomorrow. I am very upset and disappointed at the lack of response. I am requesting a full refund.

Vintage vibes Was very impressed with the friendliness of the clerk Gracie and when we ended up running late she accommodated us by opening up our room, turning on the air and light. Room was sparse but very clean and smelled clean. Vintage vibes with the pink tiled bathroom. Beds were a little stiff for me but all in all a good experience.

I liked the location, was close to where we were going for a class reunion. Area was close to downtown which made it nice to walk to water and draw bridge. Even just updating the shower head would be a big help.
