Leisure facilities good. Food good. Couldn’t really fault it. Beds comfy.

During my recent stay at the Holiday Inn in Taunton, I had a truly enjoyable experience that exceeded my expectations. This well-appointed hotel provided a relaxing and comfortable retreat, complemented by excellent amenities and a cozy ambiance. One of the standout features of the Holiday Inn Taunton was the impressive pool and sauna facilities. These amenities provided a welcome respite after a long day of travel or exploration. The pool was well-maintained and offered a refreshing oasis for relaxation and exercise. Additionally, the sauna was a delightful addition, allowing guests to unwind and rejuvenate in a tranquil environment. These amenities truly made a difference in enhancing my overall stay. Another noteworthy aspect of the hotel was the strong and reliable Wi-Fi connectivity. In today's digital age, having a dependable internet connection is essential, particularly for business travelers or guests who rely on staying connected. The Holiday Inn Taunton delivered in this regard, providing a seamless online experience throughout my stay. The consistent Wi-Fi signal allowed me to stay connected, whether for work purposes or leisurely browsing. Was really good but for the price you charged for breakfast you should have everything there was told no butter no mamalade no wheatabix had to fetch the bread that was the only thing wrong

Really lovely hotel, extremely friendly staff and very good service and amenities for the price. The only downside was that the bed wasn't great, which meant that neither of us got much sleep at all for our whole 4 night stay. It's such a shame because apart from this, we were really amazed with the price and service. Pool, gym and breakfast was included. Really friendly staff on reception and also cleaning the rooms. One of the rare hotel chains that are still cleaning your rooms and changing towles mid stay. They also topped up water in the room each stay.

Had a really nice stay. Gym and pool was a great addition, run by attentive staff. The hotel was clean, well run, and the staff were all very friendly.

We booked a family room requesting two cots on the booking, but then just to make doubly sure, I called up to confirm there would be two cots in the room on arrival the day before. I was reassured the cots would be in the room. When we checked in I asked the receptionist if the cots were in the room and she said that the request was visible on the booking notes so the cots should be there. Of course there was not one cot in the room when we got there, just a made up sofa bed. It was late at night and our 13 month old babies had to wait for them to be brought in. It's not like we hadn't already asked twice and then triple checked again. Poor show on Holiday Inn's behalf. The room was clean and comfortable but we felt let down.

Super friendly staff, clean room, couldn’t do enough to help us. We have a young baby and they stored milk in the fridge for us and even brought it up to our room on demand. Gym staff were accommodating and lovely. Room was spacious and clean. Lovely little glass water bottles, hot choc and biscuit tray. Quiet night’s sleep and comfy beds. There is a large sainsbury, Costa coffee and Starbucks drive thru a few minutes drive away. An hour or so from Lyme Regis. Thoroughly recommend, really enjoyed our stay. Will be back!

We went with our 5 year old daughter, there was plenty for her to do and keep her entertained. Was a lovely stay
