가봤던 호텔중에 최고에요! 스파 때문에 끌려서 갔다가, 그 외에 액티비티에 반해서 나왔습니다. 테니스랑 골프 포함해서 야외 수영 짱이에요

Myself and husband have just returned from a wonderful one nights stay at The Grove. Firstly huge thanks to Alex Bowman, Monika and Mia for arranging our great stay for my birthday, and post celebration after tying the knot late last year after 33 yrs. There’s a very grand approach to the hotel complex through the prestigious golf course, and on arrival we received a warm welcome at reception, and congrats from Ioan ( apologies for spelling) who checked us in and explained where everything was. Beautiful hotel with tasteful decor. Our room was also fabulously furnished with views over the splendid gardens . After unpacking, we steamed and bubbled our cares away at the steam room and jacuzzi in the stylish Sequoia Spa located in the hotel grounds. Feeling chilled we returned to our room to prepare for an exciting dinner in The Glasshouse. (I’ve reviewed that experience on The Glasshouse page) There was a little treat of yummy happy birthday chocolates and card in our room, thoughtfully left for me which was a lovely gesture. After an excellent dinner, we returned to our room to snuggle down, only to find the turn down fairy had been, and tided and refreshed our room ready for our return. After enjoying a really restful nights sleep, we awoke to the joys of knowing we had breakfast to look forward to in The Glasshouse again. After another delicious meal, we sadly had to prepare for return home. We again had a warm goodbye at checkout from Kiri and Nishat. We live nearly three hours away, but my goodness it was worth the journey to visit this place. We felt so relaxed, and chilled after our stay. We stayed here in Jan for 1 night as a birthday surprise. All staff were extremally helpful and friendly. We were given an upgraded room overlooking the gardens and provided with chocolates in the room. The room itself was huge, the bed was comfortable (so much so that i checked where the pillows were from so i could order some!) The grounds are immaculate and would look amazing in the spring/summer when the leaves are on the trees and the outside pool is open. Inside there are fresh flowers everywhere including the toilets and corridors. We ate at the Glasshouse buffet and experienced some of the tastiest versions of basic foods eg the roast potatoes and green veg were something else. The beef wellington was to die for. i just wish i could've kept eating! Breakfast the next day was the same experience. Plenty to choose from and the Eggs Royal and Pastel de Nata's (Portuguese pastries) were so good. The spa facilities were great, the changing rooms had everything you needed, the pool area was clean. My partner said the pool was cold but i didnt agree. The jacuzzi and steam rooms were good sizes. Initially there were no beds only chairs but soon one became available. We did the 4 mile walk around the grounds which took us off site and along the river before rejoining around the golf course. The service could've been a bit quicker in the bar area as it wasn't that busy but other than that we cant fault the stay. I only wish we could visit more often. A truly memorable experience

我預訂了住宿來慶祝我丈夫的生日。庭院和酒店都無可挑剔，但是退房時我把珠寶盒忘在房間裡了，令我驚訝的是，客房服務人員從未報告丟失和找到這些珠寶盒。你不會想到會被一家五星級酒店搶劫，即使我是那個忘記帶珠寶的人，你也會期望在如此知名的酒店從事酒店服務工作的工作人員會報告此事，而不僅僅是放它在他們的口袋裡。我與許多員工交談過，儘管他們說他們已盡一切努力進行調查，但我什至從未收到過代表酒店的道歉。很明顯，無論是誰偷了它，都永遠不會站出來承認，因為他們可能會面臨警察指控並失去工作。飯店應該採取更多措施來保證在那裡工作的所有員工都是誠實的，並且可以放心地將自己的物品留在房間內。我失去的珠寶非常昂貴，對我來說具有情感意義，而酒店卻沒有採取任何措施來補償我，我認為這真的很便宜而且不尊重。雖然我們剩下的住宿經驗很棒，但這次經歷讓我感到被背叛了。我會推薦它嗎 - 當然！請確保將所有物品存放在保險箱中，並且不要留下任何東西，因為您再也見不到它了！附：早餐時的那位女士也有點粗魯，說我盤子裡的食物還不夠，我應該多吃一點，因為這是免費的自助餐！這是以諷刺的方式說的，我認為她應該保留自己的意見！

We went for the afternoon tea there. I did not realise but they charged me twice for it. I was charged £260 instead of £130. Stupidly I believed that I will receive a refund as advised by the Grove personnel working at the afternoon tea ‘cloud 9’. I’ve emailed multiple times, tried calling but received no response and no refund. In addition the afternoon tea was mediocre and the whole experience is just not great after being charged extra £130..
