Les Chambres Chez Grand-mère à Chambéry

Superbe. Bien plus confortable et chaleureux qu'un hôtel traditionnel. On a l'impression d'être comme chez soi. La chambre ("Ducs de Savoie") était très grande (immense) et très bien décoré. L'immeuble est par ailleurs idéalement placé.

Belle étape avant de rejoindre la neige....chambre spacieuse, décorée avec beaucoup de gout, une Literie d’excellence, salle de bain parfaite et un petit déjeuner copieux. Cerise sur le gâteau, l'hôtel est dans une petite rue piétonne en plein cœur de la vieille ville à proximité des restaurants et bars qui fleurissent si joliment la soirée.A cinq petites minutes d'un grand parking couvert (place Monge) que demander de plus.

Horrible service. Rude employees. We had to sleep on the floor… we talked to the manager, but after she understood it was her fault, she ghosted me and didn’t call back. We had to find another hotel or sleep on the ground… well… there was no other hotel available and the kids were tired after a long drive.

My first time in France and my first accommodation and I couldn’t be more pleased. The location, the decor, the charm and helpful staff. The town was at my footsteps and renting bicycles for the two of us was easy located next to the train station. Ride to Le Bourget-de-Lac round trip 28k and we are both 70. Imagined myself participating in the Tour de France! Beautiful bike paths.

Beautiful room well appointed and quiet and spacious in a central part of town but NO LIFT which did not smarmy to be disclosed. Very difficult for elderly travellers with heavy suitcases up two big flights of stairs. On ringing for help, was told none available.

On a réservé sur Booking, on a jamais pu avoir accès à notre chambre!! Personne ne répond au téléphone, le code d’accès ne fonctionne pas. Je conseille soit de prendre du personnel compétent soit changer de métier. On a payé 125€ pour rien plus une autre chambre dans un autre hôtel à 22h. Un bon souvenir on s’est régalé
