BEWARE: here is what you need to know.... (i) camera fees are handled by the Lodge, but ₹885.00 fee that was written on my account was charged to my card at ₹9900.00 !!!!!!! Read your bank credit-card receipts carefully at time of check-out !!!!! (ii) accommodation is not well kept : we experienced clogged-drains, malfunctioning airconditioners. Chalets really showing their age. (iii) Staff vary from very helpful ............... to lining up for tips !! (iv) Laundry service - doesn't exist. Management says "give it to room-boy and it will be back in 24 hours" . Room-boy says there "is no laundry service at this lodge". Can someone suggest a good alternative ??????????

There is enough sign of no-maintenance in the room, especially bathroom are stinky, one light is not working, desks are not cleaned, pillow covers with stains. Foods are not good, limited, missed the JLR famous fish fry in lunch/dinner. Fish curry is just bogus. Chicken tandoori is not up to the mark. Other veg items too not tasty. Only good thing I should mentioned that hospitality of the staffs is commendable and the safari trips.

Our stay at Jungle Lodges Bandipur in July was disappointing. The rooms were below average and in dire need of an upgrade. Upon arrival, there was no sitting arrangement in the reception area. The dining area had a leaky roof, which was quite off-putting. On the bright side, the food tasted good, and the safari experience was enjoyable. However, the overall facilities need significant improvement.

Grand bungalow avec terrasse pour 3 personnes. Pas de service de ménage si vous restez plusieurs nuits. Personnel restauration sympathique. Les guides ne sont pas du tout causant. Mais nous sommes ravis car nous avons vu 2 jours de suite un tigre et notamment un tigre prenant un bain pendant un long moment. Par contre peu d'autres animaux. Si vous avez le choix préférer Kabini River Lodge , site plus agréable et plus qualitatif à tout point de vue (hébergement, repas, jeeps et guides). Si vous restez plusieurs jours, n'hésitez pas à faire l'excursion proposée au temple. C'est très chouette et nous avons vu un léopard sur la route qui traverse le parc.

Our group spent 2 nights at Bandipur Jungle Safari Lodge and would definitely recommend this location for anyone wanting to visit the national park. The accommodation has all the modern amenities including WiFi, hot water and drinking water, and 3 delicious meals per day which are prepared buffet style. The staff are helpful and friendly and took us for an additional drive up to a temple in the mountains at no extra charge. We had 3 Jeep safaris into the national park (a 2 night stay includes 4 but we arrived too late for the first one) which were incredible! The driver really makes every effort for you to see the wildlife which we saw lots of, including several elephants and a tiger.

Best lodge to be for jungle safari in the Bandipur reserve. The accomodation is okay, the food is good but their safaris are very well organized and are in the jeep versus other safaris which are in buses which is not the most optimal. Hands down the best place to stay if you are interested in safaris as the pvt logdges in the area dont guarantee jeep safaris. The staff is nice and helpful. We had a problem where we had to shift our rooms but this does not happen to most guests. Overall happy and would stay here again if in Bandipur!

A good JLR property that is bang on the highway near the Bandipur Entry Gate. Personally like locations that are a little more closer to nature like The River Tern Lodge by the Badra River. What stood out was the customer service as usual. Suresh, who was managing the safari allocations was especially helpful. Pros 1. Location (to the jungle entry) 2. Friendly Staff 3. Food Cons 1. Room Maintenance (had a faulty bathroom door)

It is one of the best stay in Bandipur. The staff are very courteous. The 2 Jungle Safaris arranged by them are very good (tiger sighting is always by luck). The spread and taste of food is very good...the ambience and the eco friendly environment is complete serene..

While the service at Bandipur Safari Lodge was good, with a friendly guide and well-organized safaris, we found it overpriced for what was offered. The rooms, although clean, were not well-maintained, and the food, though decent, fell short of our expectations for the cost. Overall, while the staff and safari experience were positive, the lodge doesn't offer good value for money considering the state of the accommodation and food quality.
