WE THINK YOU WILL LOVE IT HERE…YOU ARE NOW PART OF THE FAMILY…The cabin has a real VT vibe…Wood, wood & more wood! It’s calming, and comfortable and very close to the mountain! The hot tub is literally 2O yards away and looks out on horses and Stratton mountain with the setting sun behind!! We have a lovely fire pit so you can do s’mores right after the hot tub! Just remember to bring marshmallows because the grocery store closes early!!!Kitchen: We have a hot plate set up so it’s not a full kitchen...We have you covered on dish ware but think of Fernandos as get up and make yourself an egg and toast kind of a place. This isn’t the cabin for Thanksgiving dinner! That said, I have seen people get very creative on a double hot plate!Centrally located within 10min to a BIG grocery store, awesome butcher shop, hardware store, and pharmacy. We are sandwiched between VT’s finest ski mountains so take your pick!! Fernando’s cabin is a hidden gem and is often described as being the most relaxing, romantic, and cozy cabin in the woods EVER!!!What could be better than falling asleep in the trees and wakingup to birds singing around you or in winter to a pristine layer of fresh pow!! Cleanings:Our cleaning and linen fee is there to allow our cleaning lady to fully disinfect, clean, do laundry, fold linens and get the bathrooms and kitchen to sparkle. We charge just a bit more these years for all the changes we have experienced from Covid, property tax hikes and STR taxes. Hope you understand. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:We have some rules you will be asked to sign on arrival. -Please, take care of this cabin as you would your own home-This is your space and your space only. Guest that are not in the reservation are are not allowed. The only people allowed to this listing are the ones you have added.-Do not ask to bring more guests than the ones allowed in the listing -Quiet time (no loud noises, no loud music and no outdoor conversations) starts at 10pm-Please READ all our detailed rules before Booking!!! Now that’s ALL out of the way…please DO enjoy this AWESOME cabin. IMPORTANT. If you want total isolation also skip it. Our little cabin is not far off so you WILL see other folks and you will hear me out on the tractor mowing or clearing snow...You will for sure get an unsolicited visit from our black lab! PETSWe love our animals at Bent Apple Farm, but we only allow dogs and we do charge a 150 dollar pet fee. -Dogs must be crate trained and can not come to the property without. -It is your responsibility to NEVER leave your pup unattended in the cabin even for trip to the grocery store.-Please brush and trim your pet’s nails before coming to our cabin to avoid damaging our natural wood floors.-If your dog is a chewer, this listing may not be a good fit for he/she. -We don’t allowed pets in furniture or bed. This is East Coasts best steep and deep skiing…Shhhhh that’s a secret! This perfect little escape speaks cozy! From the flannel sheets to the vintage furniture and the big brass bed. Wake up to a view of the woods, chirping birds, and a babbling brook:) Take a shower in the cutest bathroom in the world...With a perfect little window to the bedroom because…Why not;) Brew your morning coffee (bent apple brew) while you look out to the fresh snow! Double burner hot plate, fridge and a microwave should meet you basic cooking needs. This house is situated on a quiet dirt road with some of Vermonts most scenic farmhouses and views. Enjoy, dog sledding, cheese making, sleigh rides and local eateries from our friends all minutes away! The Village Grocery is located 10 min from the house for all your shopping needs. The property is on an easily accessible private road. There is plenty of parking and can also accommodate a snowmobile trailer setup. Access the VAST right from the house and ride to restaurants/bars or head out to Somerset Reservoir.Mount Snow is only a few minutes away for winter sports or golfing and many other events in the summer.Bed sheets, pillow cases & bath towels are NOT provided. Renters have to bring their own. We do have comforters & pillows there. The space:This is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath chalet with a loft (above the dining room) and there is a “tv room” addition. One bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has two bunk beds (full/twin - twin/twin setup). The loft has two twin beds. In the addition, there is a pull out sleeper style couch. The living room has two futons for additional sleeping(full size). The kitchen is fully equipped & has an island and stools. There is also a dining area with a table for 5. There is one Smart TV in the addition, but we do not have cable. We do have wifi. There is a tv in the queen bedroom that is not a smart tv (we do have a dvd player or you can bring your own amazon fire stick or something like that to try and plug in. Same with the small tv by the lamp that is in the other living area by the kitchen) Other things to note:We have no real driveway. Just park anywhere in the front yard. There is plenty of parking even for snowmobile trailer setups. If you end up staying during a snow storm, you might be asked to move vehicles to allow our plow company to move snow. While we do have the fastest wifi they offer in the area, please note it is not the best or most reliable!Mount Snow is a few minutes down the road.Stratton Mountain is about 20 minutes away.The town of Wilmington is about 15 minutes away and has shopping and many dining options.The town of Manchester is 45 minutes away and has the Manchester Designer Outlets.Jamaica State Park is 25 minutes away.About pets:No pets allowed.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:Please DO NOT wear shoes or boots upstairs! We raise a diverse variety of animals and produce to provide for ourselves and our community. We have a variety of goods available throughout the year - so please let us know if you would be interested in our eggs, garlic, squash, or meats to enjoy here or take home!We have two wonderful dogs, Bodhi and Chaco. You might also see one of our three cats roaming around during your stay. Spend your time just being, or explore the many farms, restaurants, galleries, shops, and activities Southern Vermont has to offer.We’re located 5 miles from downtown Putney where you’ll find Next Stage Arts, Yellow Barn International Music Center, and the Sandglass Theater. We also have a great food co-op, general store, and a few restaurants.If you’re looking for a hike with a great view, it’s absolutely worth checking out Putney Mountain and The Pinnacle. Easily hiked in a couple of hours or less.We’re 17 miles from Brattleboro - where you’ll find a larger variety of restaurants and local shops. We’re also blessed with a year-round farmers market - which is not to be missed!We’re passionate about good quality food and supporting our local farmers and businesses.
