Welcome to beautiful Sunset Mountain Lodge, a 3-bedroom (plus a loft), two-bath home, on a secluded six acres of property with stunning sunset views. Relax and unwind on the large porch overlooking the mountains, enjoy hiking on the property, soak in the hot tub, or roast marshmallows by the fire pit. The house is close to many area attractions, grocery stores, and great restaurants, with downtown Spruce Pine and Burnsville nearby. This is the perfect mountain getaway!The space:There are two bedrooms on the main floor (one with a king bed and the second with a queen bed), a loft area with two twin beds, and a room downstairs with a queen bed. A full bathroom is on the main floor and a second full bathroom is downstairs.The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, and all the essential cooking items you’ll need; and a gas grill is also available for use. The dining area is large enough for eight people, with three bar stools for additional seating. The home has a gas log fireplace in the living room, and a fire pit outside for the best of both worlds. A hot tub that is regularly maintained and cleaned is on the downstairs patio.The house is peaceful and quiet, with the sound of nature all around you. There are hiking opportunities throughout the property, and even a creek just below the house that you can take a quick hike to and explore.And while it may feel like you are in the middle of nowhere while you are at the home, this mountain getaway is close to several nearby towns and attractions and is the perfect location for day trips to Mount Mitchell, Roan Mountain, Asheville, Linville Falls, and more. However, we do not provide firewood. You can purchase this at many of the local convenience stations, local grocery stores or Walmart.
