This hotel gets so many mixed reviews - some excellent and clean, some tiny rooms and dirty. Our experience was a good located hotel in the heart of the city. Do not come here by car and expect to park. Coach arrivals are a short walk from the hotel. Our room was dark but spacious and clean. There was a safe, small stocked refrigerator and facilities to make a drink. The pillows were both rock hard, we both woke with a stiff neck, perhaps the next time the hotel order new pillows a choice of soft or concrete pillows could be offered. The wardrobe design is ridiculously dangerous, with two fixed glass panels behind which are the hangers. You access these through a gap in between the two glass panels. In our view this design is not practical. In fact in the end we managed to remove hangers and used the coat hook in the hallway - whoever designed these should be made to use them daily. The bathroom was a reasonable size but the shower difficult to get the water temperature right as it was tap controlled. We had a buffet dinner and breakfast in the hotel both were of a reasonable quality except the hot food was cold and the toaster impossible to work. Coffee was served slowly at the counter.

The hotel is in a good location, within easy walking distance to all the tourist sights and restaurants. The room was a good size, with a good choice for breakfast, would stay here again.
