This hotel is a treasure!!! An amazing job at converting an old building, maintaining the historic details while making lovely rooms. The bed is the best we’ve slept on in ages. The people running the hotel are super friendly and attentive. Yes the train runs by at night but it is off in the distance so its a romantic sound instead of a blast and earplugs are there if you want, and better than highway noise. We loved it and would even plan a stop in Centralia so we could stay there again.

I love vintage buildings, and this place had charm. The owner was nice. The amenities are not what you expect at a hotel these days. They should not have people staying in the hotel when they have a wedding booked. Earplugs were provided for ‘the outside noise, as trains are close by’. The inside noise was worse! With earplugs in, you could hear the people repeatedly coming upstairs, using the stairwell. ( We were on the 3rd floor.) The elevator is very loud also, and with the frequent traffic the noise the elevator makes when it announces a stop was loud enough to hear ( repeatedly) with earplugs in! The acoustics in the building are not conducive for sleeping with people coming back and forth to their rooms. I think we could hear the floors below us as well? There was so much activity. I was excited to like and enjoy my stay at this charming old place, but ended up cranky and tired, and not enjoying it.

Beautiful boutique hotel. The self check-in procedure was easy to follow. The suite was large, comfortable, and very clean. I highly recommend you stay here!

The hotel is beautifully refurbished while maintaining the vintage charm. The staff was very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Check in and out was easy and efficient. A few reviews mentioned the nearby train noise but we hardly noticed it, the complimentary ear plugs would be helpful for more sensitive folks. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The only thing we would like to have had was a mini refrigerator, otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this lovely hotel.

I liked the history of the building and the renovations. It was convenient with restaurant and bar on the same property. Friendly, locally owned and will stay there again when we come to town!

Love the idea of restoring old facilities. Very lovely 1920 building being used as originally intended. We enjoyed our stay very much.

It was nice to stay in a historical building, but if you only want a bed and bathroom, then your good. Room did not have a TV or a fridge. Dinner within the building was very expensive for both Dinner and Breakfast. Nice it was convenient, but very pricey.
