Kandaya is kinda pricey but we get the service worthy for the price. All the staff are friendly, reliable and fast. We never had any single problems or concerns during our stay. We just need more time to explore the resort more. Everything was perfect
Hotel Blanca is one of the NICEST places to stay on the island. The room is clean, I loved how it was decorated, it includes a stunning balcony view and we loved spending time looking at the sea and island life from our balcony. The beach area behind the hotel is fabulous with a beach bar and all kinds of loungers, flowers everywhere! It’s the best place to watch the sunset. It has one of the only working ATM machines on the island. The breakfast is excellent with fruit and fresh breads and everything you could want. I highly recommend one have dinner at the restaurant, but select one of the tables that are beachside for a very private and romantic and memorable dining experiences! The staff was very considerate and helpful. Malapascua is an island with only 6000 residents. It’s remote and rustic, one should not have insanely high expectations about this backpackers destination, its island vibes, things are simple here. That is a part of what makes it so very special. If you have time, a visit to Malapascua Island is a MUST for your Philippine adventure. Diving with the Thresher Sharks is a once in a lifetime experience. The island is something special. If you have a little extra to spend, staying at this hotel will take your adventure up a notch. It’s beautiful, the staff are great and the restaurant and beach area are top notch.
訪訪客Had a short getaway with family and service was perfect and we were well looked after by everyone. I have to say a special mention to Ryan, had enquired about halal poultry for room service and DInning options. Ryan followed up with a call after confirming with the culinary team. Finding halal food in Cebu is very difficult, hence we appreciated Ryan’s personal touch on this. The Duty Manager, Owen was also very welcoming and friendly. Definitely will return back, should our travel plans brings us back to Cebu!
訪訪客This is a budget friendly choice if you need to a short stay in Cebu city. Its ideally located near JY so transportation will not be a problem. They also have a resto called Tamp but its on the pricier side. Other restos/cafe just across the street as well. I had two overnight stays both booked on Agoda. The second stay, I decided to walk in however the front office desk agent advised me that they did not have availability. Strange. I booked a room via Agoda on the spot and was able to get the room and a good rate. Room pretty basic but it had the necessary amenities like coffee/tea making facilities. Also toiletries. Have to mention that on my 2nd stay, I was given a room that did not smell fresh. It was clean and all but the linens smelled like they did not dry properly so it was annoying. I did not raise an issue with front desk because it was just an overnight stay All in all, they offer better rates than the Yello hotel just across the road. They have long stay and day use rates as well.
