What a great place to stay. If you are into nature get to say in one of the rive cottages and your are right n the edge of the Sal river. On the far bank is a large fruit bat colony, a pond heron arrives on the pontoon just outside every evening to look for fish, smaller bats and kites fly around in the evening and you can watch fishermen pulling in their fishing nets. such a peaceful quiet view from the balcony I loved it. The *** and wo*** on reception were so friendly and professional as was the *** serving breakfast. The beach was a 10 minute walk away.

5*s! As always, we wish to leave a glowing review for our stay at Novotel Dona Sylvia. We returned here after getting married at this very venue 5 years ago - we wished to come back to reminisce and unwind and it was the most perfect stay of our trip to India. Gita and the rest of the Novotel Staff (Anant, Anjali, Gavin to name just a few) were attentive, super lovely and made us feel as though we had returned home, which was furthered when we also met the General ***ager on our last day. The team pulled out every stop and made us feel extremely welcome and at ease, especially when we landed at midnight - they did everything they could to accommodate us with checkin and a snack before sleeping. The pool, breakfast buffet food service and grounds were excellent - we cannot thank the Novotel Team enough for all their thoughtful details to celebrate our anniversary (including a cake and a personalised, heartfelt card). We thoroughly enjoyed walking through the hotel, the serenity pool and the easy access to the beach - for sure we will be back in the coming years. The team pulled out all the stops for the most memorable and unforgettable stay, we cannot thank you enough - the charm of Dona Sylvia has indeed lived on and will be with us for our whole lifetime.
