斯泰西克羅含早民宿(B&B Stesicoro InHabit - City Center)

We arrived at midnight in the rain. Taxi dropped us off at the back alley which was a bit shock to us. However the interior of the room is nice. But the shower door doesn’t close properly. The B&B is located on the 2nd floor. No lift. Just be aware if you have a big luggage.

Ho prenotato pagando anticipatamente una camera standard. Purtroppo la struttura non è come viene presentata. Sporca, scarafaggi, un bagno inservibile per l’angustia degli spazi. Appena arrivati ci siamo lamentati e ci hanno detto di scrivere una email ad *******. Fatto: siamo arrivati a sera tarda e non avevamo altra dimora per andare a dormire, visto anche il pagamento anticipato che avremmo perso. Abbiamo atteso il giorno dopo cercando di capire se ci avessero rimborsato almeno la seconda notte, ancora da fare. Alle undici di mattina abbiamo deciso di proseguire la giornata vista la non risposta. Alle 11:47 ci chiamano (noi ormai molto lontano) dicendoci che se avessimo fatto il check out entro le 12 ci avrebbero rimborsato. Una vera presa per i fondelli. Includo servizio fotografico per oggettiva inadeguatezza della struttura che, per inciso, non ha l’ingresso su Piazza STESICORO, bensì su una viuzza buia, sporca e maleodorante (anche di questo allego foto). Peccato, ma Catania ha tante ottime strutture più in linea con la bellezza della città. Questa è da sconsigliare fortemente.

Il B&B si trova proprio in una posizione centrale per raggiungere tutti i punti d'interesse. Personale sempre presente e disponibile. All'interno elegante e moderno, camera pulita e dotata di tutti i comfort. La colazione si fa al bar sotto la struttura. L'unica pecca è la mancanza dell'ascensore ma le scale sono comode da fare. Lo consiglio

We’ve just had a wonderful week in Catania and our first visit to Sicily. The staff and management at the InHabit B&B helped make this a great trip, giving great recommendations for days out and fabulous restaurants. The hotel is clean, well decorated and has a great location but it is the helpfulness of the staff that really made the difference - going the extra mile to accommodate us. We’ll happily return in the future.

We were a little worried when we stood outside the entrance. Once inside and up a flight of stairs our worries disappeared. The manager speaks English and greeted us warmly, and was very helpful. Our room was clean, it was a good size with a fridge and a kettle and cups. The shower was a bit small to get in and out of. We had a voucher to get breakfast in the cafe opposite. The coffee and pastries were excellent. The position of this hotel is very good, right in the centre of Catania also near bus stop and Metro.

Excellent boutique guesthouse . Clean and modern room with good bed. The location was perfect, It is in a quiet and pleasant safe area. We had breakfast at the cafe and it was delicious with a varied menu and served quickly by friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely recommend this guesthouse at any occasion if you’re in Catania.

Excellent location on Via Etna facing Stesicora square. The entrance is in via Neve a narrow side road off via Etna ( it is not an alley way ) . Metro 200metres up the road . Tourist buses operate right outside. Fabio arranged airport pickup for us . We were met at airport and when we arrived in Stesicora square someone was waiting for us . They took our case and directed us to the property. Yes there are a lot of stairs up to the hotel but it’s a very old building. We’re in our 60s and managed the stairs several times a day . Believe me once you enter you’ll be more than happy to climb them every day . The hotel has been tastefully decorated to a high standard.Large room with all amenities. Fabio is an excellent host . He speaks faultless English. And he goes over and beyond to make your stay the most pleasurable it can be . He is very experienced in hospitality. And it shows . He is very proud of the hotel and so he should be . For breakfast you receive a voucher daily to use in cafe Scardaci opposite the hotel .This works really well . There’s a great choice of sweet and savouries . And of course excellent coffee . We’d highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Catania. And would definitely stay again if we return to Sicily .
