I don't quite know where to start, so probably with the name - Blisswood. Yes, it is indeed absolute Bliss! Pre-booking and from booking to stay the communication was excellent and Carol answered all of our questions promptly. Maps were given beforehand and all the info we needed was available. Self-check in was an absolute breeze and the instructions were crystal clear, we personally love the whole hands off approach because it is Blisswood so we preferred the self-check in and no housekeeping during our stay. That being said, all the interaction we did have with staff around the ranch was very pleasant. Housekeeping - when we entered the cabin, it was exceptionally clean and the cabin has all the things (both big and small) that you need for a perfect stay. The grill, hot tub was great and the Starview cabin in general in my view is absolute perfection. I have to recommend the Starview Cabin because it has huge open space in front and you get all the sun (or can hide from it on the beautiful rocking chairs that I would have love to have stolen haha on the porch). The interior is incredible and both living and sleeping areas are amazing. The shower in one of the bedrooms is superior to the other so we did all use that, but there are the bath and showers in both rooms. The outdoor shower is also great, but as it was trellised on one side with folks passing (on horses or working) we were a little shy to use that in the day. Activities - we hired the fishing gear and loved it even though we are both useless at fishing. We did get a recommendation from the staff in passing one day that we should try a different pond and that is where we had our success. We wish we got the name of the young gentleman actually because he was so pleasant every time you passed or bumped into him on the grounds. We also did the horse riding and Jessica was a brilliant guide who was very patient with all three of us who had never ridden before, a beautiful way to see the incredible grounds of Blisswood. We needed to call upon the staff once as our hot tub had E02 error and it was sorted very swiftly (whilst we were riding). The instructions on the hot tub are very clear but would be good to add what to do if E02 error appears so we can self correct it (as it did strike again on our last night cutting the hot tub stint a little short). One little tip for travelers, do not listen to the weather apps, it was forecast terrible the whole time and we saw nothing but baking heat and sun - the Starview Cabin again is perfect for this as you get all open field in front to enjoy the sun. Loved the cabin, loved the grill, loved the hot-tub, loved the porch and rocking chairs, loved the activities. Thank you for an amazing stay, a memorable trip and birthday

What an amazing place …. We stayed in The Enchanted Cabin and wow was it enchanting … everything was more than perfect … the decor , the amenities a hot tub, a fire Pitt we say under the stars so romantic ! the food provided for our bbq was delicious the steaks where out of this world. I booked the safari and being a huge animal lover I was in heaven feeding the bissons, emu,lemurs, deer such a wonderful experience and the animals are so happy . We had a lovely massage in the evening in our cabin and then I finished my stay off with a lovely horse ride … what more can you ask for! I thoroughly recommend this place it is so tastefully done, I take my hat off to the owner Carol who has created this magical spot thank you so much

I was looking forward to my stay at Blisswood Bed & Breakfast Ranch, and I can honestly say I am looking forward to returning. It really is 350 acres of pure bliss! The property is beautiful with multiple ponds and massive trees, and photos really don’t do it justice. They have several different types of accommodations, and the Enchanted Cabin, where I stayed, is very private and the perfect spot to relax and disconnect. They also offer a multitude of on-site ranch activities. I decided to do an exotic animal safari, and as someone who grew up on a farm but moved to the city many years ago, it was so much fun roaming around in the pasture with the bison, deer, miniature donkeys and other animals, feeding them and learning more about the ranch. My guide, Skeeter, was so friendly and made it such a fun morning. This was definitely one of my favorite parts of my stay! I can’t say enough good things about this place, and it truly was an amazing experience. If you are looking for a getaway to the country where you can do lots of activities or nothing at all, definitely check it out!

We wanted to do a quick 24 hour gateway as a couple just for ourselves to rest and recharge. It was just what we needed. Being able to add on things like the date night and dinner package made our stay effortless. The horse back riding was a great way to end our stay before we headed back home to reality. I wish we could have stayed longer. Great romantic place with a lot of privacy at the Enhanced Cabin. Thank you Blisswood for a sweet time!

Nice and secluded, the hot tub was in the middle of trees that formed a natural canopy, so cool. Breakfast was nice. There were lemurs by the barn and all kinds of beautiful horses to pet. When they found out we didnt have a toaster someone ran out and bought one so we could have toasted bagels . Beautiful staay

The most special ranch would stay again and again! The house we stayed in was so beautiful loved all the sweet animals as well! Our host Jessica was very accommodating for all of our asks and made sure we felt great during our stay. Wish we could have done the safari, next time!
