Esperienza da dimenticare! Poca professionalità, scortesia di colei che serve le colazioni. La camera così detta cipolla... Pulizie scadenti in particolare nel bagno, dove ho trovato peli nell piatto doccia, ma la cosa più inqualificabile è vomitevole aprendo il water abbiamo trovato traccie di feci attaccate all'interno e il copri water con tracce di urine Abbiamo fatto notare alla signora delle pulizie, facendosi qualificare come si chiamasse "Carmela" Che il water era sporco di feci. La signora a detto che avrebbe provveduto ma è sparita nel nulla. Posto sconsigliatissimo!!

This is a beautiful oasis surrounded by a fruit farm. The grounds and interiors are stylishly designed and contribute greatly to the pleasure of staying here. Breakfast and dinner are delicious and home made predominantly using the organic products grown here. There are many attractive spaces in which to sit as well as an infinity pool to enjoy. Underpinned by excellent staff. staying at La Casa di Melo is a holiday in itself and is perfectly located for visiting nearby beaches and famous towns. .

We spent three nights at Casa di Melo and wished we had booked for longer. The setting was tranquil and very relaxing with an amazing pool and beautiful grounds. The food was outstanding, and the staff were so friendly. It really felt like you were at home, in a five-star home! I would highly recommend it and will return to spend a week in Siracusa.

We had an enjoyable and relaxing stay at La Casa di Melo as part of our 3 centre vacation in Sicily (Palermo, Siracusa and Taormina). This was the longest stay in our vacation (6 nights). The accommodation was most comfortable (and peaceful) and the service from Lorenzo, Marina and Rafael was perfect and most helpful - especially helping to overcome our satnav challenges. Breakfast were well served by Inde and our thanks to him for his early morning welcome. As commented at the time, it would have helped if we realised in advance that the ‘dinner’ we pre-booked would have been described as a ’tapas dinner’ rather than the traditional Italian menu of appetiser, primi, secondi, dolce. Adding more variety to the dinner would also have added value, especially given a 6-night stay. However, we found Paper Moon (in Casibilie) along with dinner at La Casa Melo gave us a balanced/well-fed stay - we are not vegetarians or vegans. Not that this was an issue, in fact we found the presentation and quality of the tapas dinner was excellent. Also the wine list was interesting. Over the 2 weeks our knowledge and appreciation of Siciialn wines improved significantly. Thanks for La Casa di Melo for your warm welcome, service and congratulations on your lovely facility. We would be happy to recommend a stay at La Casa di Melo to others.

La nostra "fuga" siciliana è appena finita ... 4 giorni che ci hanno fatto letteralmente innamorare di questa splendida terra e della sua gente. La casa di Melo ti entra nel cuore e rientri a casa con il desiderio di tornarci il prima possibile.Abbiamo alloggiato in una delle nuove suite,a dir poco stupenda...un mix di design moderno e pezzi antichi che ricordano il classico stile siciliano.Io l'ho adorata da subito 😍.Il casale è magico, ristrutturato con gusto ed ogni angolo ha il suo fascino ... Dalla zona della colazione,ai vari salottini sotto il portico,alla piscina dalla quale si gode un tramonto unico.Il personale eccezionale ... Tutti super gentili,in particolare Manuela che ci ha accolti e coccolati trasmettendoci l'amore per il suo lavoro e per la sua terra.Adorabile❤️ E poi c'è Nino,la mascotte della casa,che ci ha fatto compagnia durante i nostri aperitivi.Chissà se giocherai con la palla che ti abbiamo lasciato? sicuramente i limoni sono più buoni🤭 In più è in una posizione strategica per visitare il siracusano: Ortigia, Marzamemi,Noto, Ragusa e le spiagge di fontane bianche e vendicarsi.Tutti a 20/30 minuti di auto. Insomma ... Che dire di più... Consiglio La Casa di Melo a chiunque ami la natura,la pace e le cose belle.Ma attenzione...crea dipenenza!!!A presto Casa di Melo, Maria Grazia e Danilo.
