水濱飯店(WatersEdge Hotel)

Hôtel très bien situé , facile d’accès . Accueil très chaleureux. Chambres très confortables et bien équipées . Un peu chaudes parcontre. Stationnement de l’hôtel un peu difficile d’accès , mais possibilité de stationner dans la rue. Déjeuner copieux et savoureux . Service excellent , serveurs dévoués et souriants .

This is a basic, no-frills hotel in lovely Cobh, near the Titanic exhibit and the center of the port town. Decor is old-fashioned. There was no safe and no air conditioning in the room. The shower, however, was updated and there was plenty of storage space in the bathroom. Towels were small and thin. The restaurant is nice, with great harbor views.

Went for lunch today had turkey and ham but ham had loads and loads of fat hardly any ham. Portion was small and served with one veg. I go quite a bit with family and friends so was very very disappointed. For €19.95 it was big let down. Do better Watersedge. On positive note, had brownie for dessert was to die for. Staff were lovely though.

My husband & I stayed in the Waters edge Hotel for one night. We had a beautiful room with sea view and two large beds, there were multiple big windows and a sliding door out onto the water. Lucky for us a cruise liner was also docked and we got to watch it sail out from our bedroom. We had dinner included in our package and had a delicious dinner in Jacobs Ladder, every course was too quality and the service was excellent. We would both highly recommend the hotel and we can't wait to return.

Pros - - -The hotel is in a great location with a great view. - The WIFI is good. Cons - - The staff is unfriendly, which is extremely unusual in Ireland! - We stayed three days and did not receive maid service. The first day we went to the desk for fresh towels, and then had to ask again for coffee. The second day we just raided the supply closet which was left open outside our door - we needed toilet paper! - The linens and towels are old, rough, and stained. - The shower is moldy. - Room 2 backs up to the restaurant so all you hear in the morning and evening is chairs scraping across the floor.

A nice hotel, with spacious rooms, on the water in downtown Cobh. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel had underground parking. The on site restaurant was very good with a variety of menu options.

Hotel pequeño y acogedor en Cobh. Todo muy bien cuidado y decorado. La habitación muy amplia con bonitas vistas al mar. Ese día estaba aparcado un enorme barco en frente, el cual impresionaba. El restaurante es acristalado con vistas muy bonitas. El desayuno estaba muy bien.

Everything about WatersEdge Hotel was perfect! The staff was very friendly and welcoming! My room was spacious, airy, and filled with light (lucky to have a sunny, warm weekend in Ireland!). The bed was comfortable, and there was a selection of soft and firm pillows in the room. The bathroom was good size and filled with natural light. I loved the rain showerhead! Towels and linens were soft and comfortable. Although my room did not have a water view, I did not miss it as I spent so much time on their patio and outdoors. You cannot ask for a better location! Very near to the train station and all the sights. It is truly on the water and the views are beautiful! The room did not have a safe (that I am aware of), but I did not need one. The closet space was plenty! There was a kettle with coffee and tea. While I am not a fan of instant coffee, I appreciated the tea. I ate in Jacob's Ladder, their onsite restaurant. The food and service was impeccable. I was able to sit outside and enjoyed the beautiful views and exceptional service. The food was extremely good as well! Everyone I encountered was very friendly, welcoming, and provided exceptional customer service. I stayed for three nights, and I loved every minute of it! I will definitely be back during my next visit to Cobh!! Many thanks to the staff!!

This is a delightful small hotel right on the water’s edge (hence the name!). You can see the cruise ships right at the door - have a drink in the bar and wave to the passengers as the ship leaves! Very nice staff. Family room 16 had comfy queen bed plus 2 twin beds - spacious bath - overlooking the harbour- very nice dining room but make reservations as it is popular!
