The lobby and our room were clean and spacious. One suggested improvement would be about the hotel information provided to guests in the rooms. The correct process to access the carpark after 11 pm was unclear. The written information provided in the room said to scan our room keycard to open the roller door but this didn't work. We had to go to reception and was advised scanning won't work and we have to call reception and they will open the roller door for us. It would be great if the hotel information provided in the guests rooms are kept up to date to avoid confusion and inconvenience to hotel guests. Aside from this minor inconvenience, we enjoyed our stay at Mercure Melbourne Caroline Springs hotel. Thank you.
