I got about what I expected for the price. I wasn't looking for 5 star service; just a cheap place to stay for a day trip to Kings Dominion, which was on the way home from our real vacation in D. C. the previous week. Since we didn't plan to spend more than an hour in the hotel while awake, all we really needed was a bed for the night. We arrived early for our 3pm reservation, but they went ahead and let us check in early, which gave us some time to change clothes and rest a bit before proceeding to Kings Dominion for the "after 4pm discount". We spent a few hours at the park, grabbed some dinner after, then headed back to the motel where we got a decent night's sleep before starting the rest of the way home first thing in the morning. We didn't use much in the way of amenities. I was pleased they had a mini fridge, so we could store our drinks and sandwich fixings from our cooler overnight. I then refilled the cooler the next morning from the motel ice machine, which saved us a stop to buy ice. We never turned on the TV, although apparently the room next door had trouble with theirs not working and were complaining the next morning. They did not have the advertised free breakfast, which they explained was because they are still waiting on the permit approval after being closed down during covid. The room wasn't SUPER clean (a bit of dust here and there), but at half the price of most accomodations near the park, it served our purpose.

The room was acceptable for an economy hotel. The front desk / check-in was completely clueless. He couldn't figure out how to process a ********** reservation, couldn't figure out how to run my credit card, claimed the room that I booked wasn't available, and blamed it all on a "new system" that he couldn't figure out. After about 20 minutes he got "it" to work and I was placed in a different room.

Had a good stay. Room was clean and the front desk staff were nice, I would definitely stay again.

This is a decent motel for a quick overnight. No frills but relatively clean, quiet, and comfortable. At 8pm, the front desk looked abandoned and it took multiple tries to get anyone to appear. Located next to a noisy truck stop but the area seemed relatively safe. It worked out fine and I would consider staying again on my next trip.

The property, especially the rooms are extremely dirty . The bed sheets and towels are full of brownish or black stains . The carpets and furniture are extremely dirty. The smell of dirt is horrible.

People at the front desk are extremely rude and very unprofessional .Carpet was filthy the room looked liked hadnt been cleaned in a very long time. Hair in the bathroom tub , seen several roaches under the sink . Refused a refund for over charging us .

Unfortunately our room had bugs scattered about, the bathroom door was broken off its hinges and was unable to shut, cigarette ashes were in the sheets. Just super disappointed
